I roasted a rather large turkey breast last night with the all the fixin's for friends so tonight I made hot turkey sandwiches with a greek salad. I haven't been hungry the last few days, but dh ate it all up so all the leftovers are gone.
We all need a little sunshine every now and then

Tonight is homemade soup with the rib broth from yesterday - will add onions, carrots, potatoes, barley, and lots of dill.
Will probably make biscuits to go with it - and if anyone is still starving, will throw a pizza in the oven.

Oh, the ribs from last night were so good - though the BBQ sauce wasn't wonderful, it was still okay. I usually make the sauce myself, but we had gotten several kinds of the Bullseye when the BOGO coupons were out. Tried the sticky and sweet one - and we all agreed there was some taste or ingredient that we just didn't really like - and upon comparing labels with the other ones, it turns out that it is the only one which has apple cider vinegar in it, so that had to be the taste. Wish we would have used the Guiness one (tried it on burgers last week and it was awesome!) instead, next time...
I had roasted potatoes with Italian dressing, and we had raw cauliflower and dip. Ahem, I had made enough potatoes to MAKE SURE there were leftovers - but that didn't work, they all got eaten up, lol!

Cabmonk - the last time Gardein was on sale I got a few different kinds and have not been disappointed yet - I agree the chicken wings are good, and so is the mandarin orange crispy chickn, and the turkey cutlets are delicious (though the gravy was gross). Hopefully they will start carrying more varieties in your area
Those wings are crazy because they're so good. I swear you could serve them to someone and tell them they were boneless wings and they wouldn't know they were veggie and the prices aren't half bad either, lol.

I don't know what's for supper tonight. This baby still did not want breakfast this morning, quickly visited the kitchen sink after I got up.
Last night I made sweet and sour meatballs with rice.

Today's lunch is "mystery lunch" as I call it. Many staff members at my school are involved with "lunch club." Each week two people are partnered up to cook lunch for the rest of the members. One person has "hot" and the other has "cold." You typically do not know what they are making until you show up to eat lunch that day. It is typically quite good, but I still have back up food at work in case baby and I cannot manage their cooking that particular Tuesday.

kashkoush, I don't eat them myself, but for my son and husband I make chicken livers, hearts and gizzards! I love the way they smell when they are cooking, but they just aren't to my taste...

I've been super busy taking care of Tank day and night
Here's my lazy girl dinner: Jane's chicken fingers, spaghetti with vodka cream sauce and a simple salad.

Tonight will be crunchy oven-"fried" chicken, and homemade potato wedges (I use the same coating I make on both), along with a garden salad.
