What I have been wanting for days. One of my home made nacho dishes. Fried hamburger with onions, cellery, frozen tomatoes (I did up last summer), some spices, possibly cream corn. I bake bite sized nacho chips in the oven with grated marble cheese. Have all this with sour cream and salsa. We'll have to see if the baby likes it. Haven't made it in a few months.

Smokey broiled ribs with roasted garlic asparagus, fresh corn bread and a salad topped with tangerine slices, caramelized onions and homemade salty and spiced candied walnuts! Fed a family of 4 adults for about $15. Everybody was happy and it was so good!

I'm going to make some homemade chicken nuggets and honey garlic sauce. I've never made the sauce before and I'm just winging it so I hope it goes ok!

Wow, no one else cooked today, lol!
I didn't make anything wonderful, since we had a late lunch.
Sauteed some ground pork, made a mushroom sauce to go with it, mixed in leftover pasta. Ahem, it was mega-garlicky, but good!

Oh Nat, ^^ I have caught DH's nasty cold/sore throat. I still got up to cook this a.m. though as I don't want to face the week ahead with nothing pre made.
2 slabs of ribs are slow cooking as I type, the extra large pot of chili is done, and I made DD the home made version of one of her favourites, lemon chicken. I am actually getting better at the making of the batter, ( just cornstarch, egg, any carbonated pop ( sprite, gingerale etc, clear one) and baking powder.
The deep frying is the tricky part I find, that oil has to be just the right temp to allow time for the chunk of meat to cook inside before the batter browns up. I am learning, lol!!
Homemade lemon sauce is so simple, why did I ever buy take out eh?
Happy mealtimes all!!

Last night we made home made pizza (I did use a frozen store bought crust though). One half was BBQ chicken and the other half was ham. It was really good, the only thing was I never use frozen crusts so I didn't cook it right I think, as the edges were super crispy but the middle was a bit under cooked...
Tonight I'm making something with ham but I don't know what yet lol<center><embed src="http://www.widdlytinks.com/myfamily/silhouettes/silhouettefamily.swf" flashvars="t1=The Bernard Family&pv1=0&pn1=6&px1=251.55&pf1=1&pv2=0&pn2=22&p x2=186.8&pf2=0&pv3=0&pn3=12&px3=305.85&pf3=1&pv4=1 &pn4=9&px4=278.8&pf4=0&pv5=1&pn5=3&px5=226.8&pf5=1 &pv6=0&pn6=1&px6=102.8&pf6=1&pv7=1&pn7=24&px7=317. 8&pf7=1" quality="high" wmode="transparent" name="My Family Silhouettes" allowscriptaccess="samedomain" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" align="middle" height="230" width="500">
