Last night was potato and cheddar perogies, with fried bacon pieces and onions, with sour cream. Late evening dessert was whoopie cakes from Sobey's (BOGO at $4) - wow, they are good! We had red velvet and chocolate truffle - very rich, so can't eat much at once.

Morning sickness continues to haunt me. If I am very lucky, I get to eat a toasted bagel with nutella and a glass of milk.

We are going to a potluck supper tonight, so I don't know exactly what we will be eating, but we are bringing a big roasted bone in ham.

Tonight I'm going to make a meatballs. I took out some ground veal, beef and pork, so as soon as it defrosts I will get at it. I just love meatballs, they are so easy to make a million meals with them.

Use them as a meat and serve with veggies and mash with gravey, make meatball subs (hmm, with lots of melted provelone) add some noodles and sauce for a great pasta dish, use them in sweet and sour sauce for a great snack at a party....and the list goes on.

Tonights menu will include the meatballs and a pan gravey from the drippings, served with roasted garlic mashed potatoes, and a baked squash with honey and balsamic vinigar.

Tonights menu will be featuring a roasted ham shank (I think the bone gives so much more flavor to the ham) with scalloped potatoes and roasted green and yellow beans with garlic and rosemary. I'll make a red-eye gravey for the ham and if my body allows (I have to go out to the store to pick up a few things today) I'll make some cheddar bay biscuits with garlic and rosemary to soak up that wonderful gravey.
