Blue rosé, I'm on Dr Ian Smith's SHRED diet and it's so easy using just normal foods...it's quantities that really make a difference...go to his website where he has a whole day's menu for you.

After that, it's just pretty much doing it all over again!
Good luck, Hon!

Most people will lose weight on a daily diet of 1,500 calories, about 2 pounds a week. thinking this may be my goal.

Yes making good choices are always the hardest part. For me I cannot just eat a sandwich (it seems so boring and not at all filling and that is only more frustrating when you eat and are still hungry). One of the biggest tricks I use is I do buy splurges but keep them all to 100 cal or less. My big weakness is chips and crackers, so I try to cut out the chips for the most all together as I cannot count calories with chips but I eat a lot of snack crackers and cracker chips so I count them out to a single portion of 100 calories or less. Special K Cracker chips for me are the best I get 18 crackers per 80 calories put them in a smallish container so it looks full (gotta play the mind tricks when you diet) and it cuts down the cravings for chips. I have these with a sandwich on my high calorie days and don't want to come home and eat half a bag of chips.
Oh how I wish I liked hummus and could so many of the "good" for you items. I can't eat egg whites, avocados, kidney beans, chick peas and they are all the filling items they tell you to eat when dieting.

well it is official, I caught a flu or something equally as bad. Body aches, queasy all day, sleepy, hacking cough with phlegm, sneezing too. Good part? I did not eat anything till 6:00 p.m.!
DH made Marc Angelo sausages, mashed potatoes, peas, and many sauteed veg in a huge pan. Not exactly diet anything, but the one meal managed to stay down, so that was good.
I am NeoCitroning my way to recovery.

I'll see you all in the morning for our weigh-in!
Remember...don't weigh first thing in the morning...wait a couple of hours....I guess by then we've lost our retained water?
Fingers crossed for all of us!!!
