I baked almost vegan biscuits...I never have milk in the house since I don't drink it, and I used up my last egg a few days ago and was not leaving the house today, so I googled and found a recipe that didn't have milk or eggs so I tried it out! It tastes the equivalent of bisquick biscuits just not as fluffy. They are a tad heavy but hey means you eat less of them!
I had to call them almost vegan because I used margarine and I don't know if my margarine is actually vegan or not LOL!

Bought a GF cornbread mix from the Bulk Barn and it was seriously the easiest thing I have baked ever! Mixed 3 1/2 c with
1 1/2 c rice milk, 2 eggs, and 1/3 c canola oil and used the bread hook attachment from the Oster mixer, baked for 25 minutes. Came golden brown and very tasty! Just the right amount of graininess that I love in cornbread! Mmmm

Just successfully made 50 Rosettes (cookies) ... a recipe my Swedish grandma use to make! A lot of you tubing and frustration, LOL! - but I finally got it figured out and was able to get a FREE rosette maker from Amazon.ca ... thank goodness for Smartcanucks! There isn't much I can bake, but it was a great success.
... I'm earning $5-25 Amazon.ca gift cards EVERY month, are you?
P.S. ... starting to hunt for ShoppingChannel GC's with no minimum purchase ...

http://allrecipes.com/recipe/omas-cottage-cheesecake/
I didn't use the milk and used less sugar. Read the reviews- they're very helpful
I'll be honest, it's not 100% like it's cream cheese counterpart, in terms of taste and texture but every bit as good!

Thanks, Janetta
Actually, I have a hard time eating regular cheesecakes because I find them too rich, although I guess it's a good thing calorie-wise because I can only eat a small piece. Took a quick look at the recipe and glad it doesn't require a springform pan.
I love that site. And yes, I always try to read all the recipes before trying a recipe.
I've added the recipe to my recipe box!

Made more oatmeal chocolate chip cookies with flax meal & walnuts from The Lemonbowl....one of my new favorite sites! MMM yummy even after reservations that they'd be like sawdust due to very little butter & sugar in them! healthy & YUM!
Also made orange cranberry muffins
