Made a birthday cake for my son yesterday - somehow my round cake pans have gone missing (?) so I had to make a bundt cake. It is chocolate chocolate chip, very moist and yummy. Unfortunately I used packages of Added Touch icing mix I got really cheap with coupons, and it's terribly sweet, though it tastes great. Loved the consistency of it, though, was great for putting on the cake and decorating. I used white icing, decorated on the top with grated chocolate and purple sparkles, with dinosaur sprinkles on the sides.

I baked some blueberry muffins over the weekend. Have some more things I would like to bake too thanks to Pinterest. Likely will be for my holiday adventures!

Today I baked peanut butter chocolate chip cookies and put orange and black sprinkles on each one of them. My grandchildren will love them. And so did my husband.

Yesterday was cooler here and a break away from the humidity. Nobody wants to bake when its 85 degrees! I took advantage of the cooler weather as it's going to start heating up again today and Ii baked a chocolate cake, 2 loaves of bread for dh and also made hime some blueberry bran muffins.
It's a long go trying to bake in my 5th wheel trailer as the ovens are small so I can only bake a few things at a time.We all need a little sunshine every now and then

Yet another Gluten Free loaf. I'm going to master a decent gluten free sandwich loaf if it kills me.

Two weeks ago I baked cheesecake when my grandparents were down to visit. The next day I baked molasses oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. I brought some of them to my husband's work to share with his coworkers. FYI the molasses makes for moist cookies that are nearly impossible to dry out.

Keep at it, it takes time. Since we all have different tastes when it comes to bread, one persons favorite recipes are not what another likes. I've had the best luck in taking the standard sandwhich recipe, taking out a lot of the rice flour and subbing different flours such as flax, coconut flour, potato starch and others. If you're in a need and no time to bake, grab a loaf of UDI's white sandwhich bread. It tastes pretty good without being toasted and even though it's expensive, at least you won't purchase the loaf, try one piece and the rest will hit the garbage (I was so doing that
) Know I either make my own or buy UDI's.
