Does anyone else find themselves get really involved in television shows?
like you get super excited when you see a new promo and sometimes even have dreams about characters from your fav television show?
haha please tell me i'm not the only one.
Anyway, I find i've always really been into Degrassi.
I watched Degrassi junior high/high reruns when I was a kid, and of course Degrassi the next generation, came out when I was about 13 so i've continuously kept on watching it.
I almost feel silly now, since i'm almost 25 and still watching it haha
Tomorrow's new episode looks INTENSE!!
Any other degrassi fans out there?
or just any crazy tv show fans that understand where i'm coming from? This thread is currently associated with: N/A

It's not crazy. Back when I was in high school and shortly after, I sat and watched a lot of TV. Since 1998, I have rarely used a TV and when I do watch, it is hockey mostly, or to watch VHS films I buy for .50 cents.
I just bought a normal sized TV to play Dance Party 2 and Dance Revolution, and I watch short films from vimeo.com as well.

You're not the only one!!
Just in case you thought you were. Shamefully I have many shows that I was SOOOO attached to and screamed bloody he** when they cancelled them....like Profit ( Adrian Pasdar) , FlashForward ( short lived but I loved it) , Kath & Kim ( Selma and Molly), The Bonnie Hunt Variety Show ( I still miss seeing her), The New Adventures Of old Christine, and then Community, which they cancelled, then brought back all out of order for the seasons to match up??
Yeah, I need help. Too much tv addiction. But you're not alone at least!!

You are not alone. Friday is date night. Not with my husband, with the Salvatore brothers from Vampire Diaries. LOVE that show. I also have this problem called Netflix which allows you to watch the next episode immediately after the one you just watched. Sometimes I have to take a break between seasons or I am lost in a black hole. I watched all of LOST in about 2 weeks. My sister (who was watching it on Netflix too) asked me where I was in the show, I had told her I was finished as I needed my life back. I have to set parameters on TV for myself for my own health and good role modelling for my kids. Funny I have the same problem with SC...

Watching Young and the Restless, son is in the room. When Nikki talks about having MS, I get all sad and say something about it out loud - son says MOM, she doesn't have it in real life! .... uh, yeah, I know, but still....

Oh Nat!! That is funny, I know eh? I caught myself getting tearful over Nikki too, we know it is not real, but for me it is the reminder that someone I know and love has it, ( SIL) I think that is where my tears come from.

I loved Degrassi! But unlike you I did grow out of it after the first group of kids all left. I really couldn't get into the younger story lines again.

To answer the question, no, and I've never gotten emotionally involved in a tv show. I think for me, because I have a hard time just sitting and watching things I can't get attached, since I just start doing something else while watching the show and am only half paying attention.
