    Even though I was up at 4:30am and on the go driving all over (incl the USA) I managed to make bbq'd burgers. Ok, Ok. I didn't make them I bought them. Trader Joes had some grass fed angus burgers for $4 something so when I picked up some of their pizza dough and Kona coffee shortbread cookies I grabbed them too.

    Tonight is Mexican shredded tacos from the slow cooker..... it smells YUMMY

    I had healthy plans. Was going to grill some chicken, go to the gym. Instead it's hot dogs on the bbq and wine to wash it down. Oh well, tomorrow's another day!

    Last night was takeout Chinese - pretty much because we wanted to have something different before Easter. Today is a meatless day, tomorrow is fasting, then Easter food for the weekend and into the week.

    Allrecipes is one of my favourite sites.

    I used to be a real Canadian. If necessary, I'd shovel the deck so I could get to the bbq. Today I got home, greased and lit the bbq, came back out a few minutes later with my chicken thighs....and it was raining. It was cold. My chicken got cooked in the oven.
