Maybe a out of subject question or rant it dépends how it is see but:

My Windows are finish in my appt.The landlor dont want to change it... Especially the one in the living room it leak and it finish wood rippen when it rain hard it is worst...Thats really grind my gears,The 2 others appt of 4 ones have news one 1 last year and other 2 years ago.....Will try to fix that myself like always........ Any tips? Material to try to fix the cracked paint and wood?

Write a letter to your landlord give them 30 days then if nothing you could always contact Regie des Logements?

Good Morning Everyone,
A grey and rainy morning here. Depending on the weather might go and finish up our grocery shopping after work. It is mostly produce I need to pick up, which means a lot of prep work to get it all ready but I find I am really enjoying the prep work part of it. It has kind of become my alone time, me the produce a knife and a chopping board.

I took some photos of our bathroom stockpile and the over flow in the hallway that I hope to post tonight, I have to download them and see how they look as I still getting used to taking pics on my new phone. My biggest issue is going to be figuring out what to do with all of the stuff we will not use or do not use often. I do not think everything will fit in the closest, so not sure where to put the over flow yet, thinking about some bins in the basement.

Time for my Tuesday morning mystery off to find out why there is a trailer in our front parking lot at work.

Your prep time/alone time can be a good way to take out your stress. Would love to see your pictures once they are posted, a lot of hardwork, planning & smart shopping went into that stockpile. Hope you have a fantastic day and if you are up to it then stop for your produce if not there is always tomorrow.

hi all. I a m hoping September will be a frugal month.
plan
3 no spend days per week.
work on the chauking for the windows ect.
stick to a menu plan.
hang 2 loads of laundry daily
continue the declutter.

make new garden bed for J's big pumpkin plan for next year.
work the garden
empty compost into at least one of them
start to being in herbs.
finish painting the kitchen.
think that's it. maybe.

I hope everyone had a wonderful long weekend.I was a bit sad closing up our cabin for another year.It is hot here today so I will be doing some organization in the basement to keep cool.

Not 1 of the kids that were their caught a fish, 1 guy caught most of the fish (lol). The weekend was okay until my depression took over and we left on Sunday instead of Monday as pre-scheduled. I felt kinda bad but I know and my family knows that I cannot be around people for more than a few hours or I get really really down and that is exactly what happened. But things were better yesterday and are yet better today

So glad you are feeling better Char.I have suffered for years with depression and anxiety issues so I completely understand how hard it is to cope sometimes.

Well the good news is that you will be well stocked on your relish and may not have to make any next year, are you related to coupon girl's son-in-law (2 years of sauce). I do this myself - whatever is super productive or large harvest I can/make enough for 2 years at a time then the following year I do the same with whatever is plentiful. This year is apples, I will be foraging for apples with dh this week or next. I heard on the news that apples are plentiful this year and apples have a 3 year cycle and this is the year. Super duper apple crops have been reported as last years drought and this years rain is a winning combination for the mother load of apples.

Our trees are loaded with apples this year. Hubby actually propped up some branches ...he was afraid the weight would break them.

Hiya everyone, Hope everyone is in "Serious September Savers" mode as I know I am and definitely need to be. I know a lot of you have posted your goals/challenges in either the August thread or on here but if you would like to have them posted on page 1, post #2 for easy access (lol) please pm me them and I will add them as I don't want to post your goals/challenges incase you have modified or changed them (which is A - OKAY). I am relaxing today for the 1st 1/2 of the day and then kicking it into high gear this afternoon. OMG I am so happy I just checked my personal email (yahoo) and got selected for the DQ cake tester, it said that a $35.00 GC is on it's way to me.....yipppeee as my bday is this month yahoo.

I freeze some for pies, we eat a lot. This year we`re looking into getting cider made.

Thanks, I'll have to check it out later today. I don't think I've ever signed up to chick advisor, although I have certainly seen people posting when they have received stuff.

Well we have DD off to Grade nine and dear student off to Grade 5. I am going to go to Sobeys and see what they have as they have 15% off today. Found out our student likes sushi so that will now be on my shopping list!

Managed to SCOP a large bottle of Jet Dry on my Sobeys run-free is always good! The sign said 9.99 with 25% off-so I figured okay a large bottle for 7.50 plus 15% off was not bad. But it rang in at 9.99 with no 25% off so I went to customer service-the lady said she would owe me 2.50 and I said I should get it for free! Then she deducted the 15% off the SCOP that I already received and she said 9.99 minus 15% so I owe you 7.75 back-I said no you owe me 8.50 back. So I ended up with it for free because I am not afraid to speak up for myself or challenge their math but I had to work for it!!
