I made 18 litres of creamy butternut squash soup yesterday (we freeze it for future meals) so that was on the menu tonight. I added fried crimini mushrooms and potatoes to give it texture. Ran out of curry but added extra cayenne to give it a great kick.

Tonight was dinner out at original joes since I worked and was exhausted. I have a funeral to go to tomorrow but I hope to make chicken in curry sauce over rice since DH requested it.

I'm suppose to be going out for a family dinner thing this evening but not sure if I want to go yet, I might be too lazy to get ready..LOL..if I do go it will be a smorgasbord of food..and if I stay home it will be hot wings (my own) and toasted baguette with lots of butter & garlic and artichoke & asiago (summerfresh)..and a glass of something cold & crisp

My mom bought some cheese and waxed it a few months ago.... now it is very strong and perfect for cheese sauces... so I am going to make some chili con caso with it. MMM garlic and onions and home made pickled peppers in a cheese sauce... bring on the multigrain tostido chips! (the multigrain makes this healthy right? LOL

I've never actually eaten sushi, but would like to try it. My DS and I love fish, and I'm not at all freaked out by uncooked fish. My only concern is freshness, that uncooked fish could make you pretty ill if it wasn't extremely fresh.
My baked potatoes, I made these tonight:

They were pretty good, I'm wondering if my DH would notice the Greek yogurt in them. Unfortunately one of the potatoes blew up in the oven while it was baking, before it got mixed with the yogurt and such. That rarely happens, and I never know why, I always poke holes in them!
