I went to a senior hockey game to take pics of the players. They let me on the ice before the game and stand behind the bench. I got injured!! No hockey players were hurt, but when i leaped over the boards, I sort of pulled a muscle. how embarrassing is that!

I snorted when I read this! LOL! I'm so sorry! Poor Candini! I got nothing to complain about that compares. If you happen to buy Fresca and Sour Cream and Onion chips.... I'll be right over! Maybe!

husband is PMSing - he tells me he is frumpy and to leave him alone for awhile. So I sit on the couch, clean, play games of Facebook (trying to move ahead in Farm Hero level 271 I think and Candy Crush level 488) - anyways he comes out of the bedroom saying why don't you talk to me. Like wtf..I feel like slipping him valium.

I have a full-time in home childcare spot for our 14month old son. She needs to take Dec 5th off in order to take her children to a follow-up dental appointment. I am a substitute teacher. I was asked last week to teach on Dec 5th. I have since spent the last week trying to figure out who could look after LO for me so that I can work that day. I have been completely unsuccessful. One friend has to work that day (she is a boss). An acquaintance is trying to become a registered and regulated home daycare and has been waiting to hear back from a Social Worker because she wants to make sure that her points are right. I looked up provincial standards and know that she has room for our LO, but she said "no" because she has been waiting for the last three days for the Social Worker to return her phone call. The Social Worker still has not returned her call. It is especially frustrating because I have only received two advanced calls for teaching days in the entire month of December. It's not as if dh and I hadn't looked for back-up childcare before, but it has all been pretty useless. I pay for a full-time daycare spot for LO because I have no other option in this city. I called a different place to see about using them to fill in the occasional gaps in our childcare and the woman literally told me "we don't do that sort of thing" and hung up the phone on me.

I will call the two daycares in Estevan and the one daycare in Bienfait tomorrow. I am pretty certain that they cannot tell me more than a day in advance, as to whether or not they will have a temporary spot for our son. I really do not want to call that teacher back and let her know that I was nu-successful in finding back-up childcare (I had told her about the situation).

People selling vehicles!

I'm having a heck of a time trying to buy a used vehicle and I need one ASAP. Every-time I make an appointment to see one (which is difficult not having a vehicle atm and going around kids schedules) the person bails. First 2 dealerships and now 2 private sellers. Now I'm really interested in one jeep (ad went up today) but they haven't returned my emails and I'm a serious buyer! I have cash and need something NOW. WTH people? Why put these cars in ads and then not attempt to sell them?

Gah! Getting super frustrated.
