    Good morning, everyone!!
    Hubby and I got treated to dinner at Pat&Marios last night, then we all saw "Catching Fire", and omg....we all read the books, but I have to say they did another fantastic job with presenting it as a movie!! I don't think I took a breath that last half hour! I can't wait for the final two movies from the last book!!!

    Well, our grandson and DD are on holidays now, so she and I are going grocery shopping some time today for the rounds of dinners and lunches with company coming and 2 Christmas dinners to prepare...I'm really going to have to pace myself this time...it really wears me out so easily now...; I think afternoon naps at home would do the trick.

    Have a wonderful weekend, everyone; stay safe while walking or driving...there are too many others out there who are too busy to watch where they're going! Take good care!!!

    ya its Friday.. 5 days til xmas.. *sigh*.. and its raining here.. then will turn to freezing rain.. (which will eliminate most of the snow). ...but then turn whatevers left to ice rinks.
    so excited.. NOT!
    anyway. ds and I are supposed to be going downtown to investigate the price of a gift he wants to get..
    this weekend were dh and i are 'taking care of business'.. then helping mom out.. then
    im supposed to be getting all my 'baking' done..
    then..

    is it Jan 1 yet??

    Foof. Just finished a grocery trip with DD to Costco and RCSS..no crowds, thank goodness and got a free $30 salmon for spending over $200 there...we could almost have split our bill into two and got two salmon...lol!! Menus for all meals for the 5 days of company planned and shopped for.
    I'm exhausted already and the fun still hasn't started........5 days of 3 meals a day plus appetizers, wine.......help? I love Christmas but boy it's sure tiring...I hope "kids" appreciate the work their Moms and Dads do each year....

    OOO, beautiful! Amazing what skills people have!

    Well, I had a crappy, not feeling good (nothing serious) kinda day.... then got an email that I won a T-Fal cookware set! Wowsers, did that ever brighten up my mood!
    Funny thing is, it was a 'Christmas wish' kind of contest, you could choose what T-Fal product you wanted under your tree and I didn't really need any of the new things they are promoting (grill, etc.), so I thought what the heck, I'll just dream and ask for something big... and my wish was granted!

    Hoping everyone has a nice Friday evening! I called husband and asked him to bring home supper, so I don't have to cook - well, not that I mind cooking, but thinking/creativity is getting more difficult!

    Thanks I know. I worked for the same company before at travelodge since they own both hotels. They used to give $20 Walmart gift card on your birthday but stopped that years ago. In the past for Christmas we would have a staff dinner, get a turkey and a gift card lol.
