Tonight will be beef stew made with a base of Garden Cocktail with carrots and potatoes. Will also make homemade potatoes bun to go with it.

I dug a few red potatoes & carrots. Supper is baked chicken breasts, mashed potatoes, fried zucchini with cherry tomatoes (from my garden) and garlic, fresh carrots & a glass of milk.
edit: I also added coleslaw to our meal. I had 2 75c off any Dole salad coupons that are expiring this week, so I bought it for 72c.Last edited by Angela273; Mon, Sep 15th, 2014 at 09:23 AM.

Southern bbq baked chicken pieces (they cook two hours in a slow oven, awesome sauce); rice with mixed veggies; coleslaw plus homemade bucket pickles, they are ready!

Tonight will be mini coulored boiled potatoes, fresh carrots that the neighbor brought us from her garden last night and some type of meat. Maybe a fruit crumble for dessert

Tonight will be Homemade Baked Potato soup I made on the weekend so it will just be a heat and serve night, perfect for a night when I am eating dinner alone. Tried some yesterday and it was so good and if that isn't enough potato might have a couple leftover homemade mini potato buns.

Last night we made brick Chicken (whole chicken on sale for about $1.72LB a month ago) Carrots (4 large carrots from 10LB bag that cost $1.88, mashed potatoes (from 10LB bag that cost $1.88) and 1/2 head of broccoli (he paid too much lol) So an awesome dinner that was cheap and have 2 full dinners in the fridge in Tupperware so the hungry teen can eat when he gets home and is starving
