Husband having leftover roasted chicken leg, with potatoes, carrots, and peas in pan sauce.
Made M&M meats jumbo crispy chicken wings so there was more meat.
I'm having a small Caesar salad with the chicken.

Dinner tonight will be homemade tortiere with mashed potatoes and carrots and turnips. And a garden salad. Dessert will be the chocolate cake from the other day (gotta finish that) with ice cream.

not Peter Cottontail???? please no!!
I made a delicious stewy thing at 4:30 a.m. Did it all in my big old roastpan. Seared about 7-8 lbs of pieces of blade steak both sides on the stove top, tossed in 8 large chopped onions, some of my dehydrated baby carrots and Portabella mushrooms, s & p, splash of raspberry vinaigrette dressing and into the 365 degree oven for a while. I did sort of forget they were cooking, but np when I came back the meat was soooo tender, onions all gooey and caramelized. Lowered the temp to 300, added 3 cans Franco Amer. canned beef gravy, tossed in 6 cups fresh cut green beans, covered and set it back in the oven for another half hour.
While that cooked I filled the rice cooker.
Guys took that for their dinner for work tonight.....Mmmm.......mine was fresh out of the pan for breakfast! lol

Char grilled asparagus and salmon fillet. I'm thinking of making either quinoa or rice to go with this.

^ was wondering about them. Think I'll get a pack just to have in case... of you know, not wanting to cook!
Tonight, husband will have leftover ribs. We'll both have salad, and Sidekicks pasta carbonara. Wanted a light supper so we have room for munching on the baking our son brought over yesterday - new bakery in the city, so he brought a sampling of things for us to try. Plus, there's birthday cake left!
