I am the maid of honour at my friend's wedding. She has a friend who I cannot STAND and I just learned that this woman is another bridesmaid.

Why do I hate this woman? She talks smack about the bride behind her back. She has for years. I've told the bride this several times, yet they are still friends for some reason.

Now I have to spend time with this backstabber. This whole thing is giving me nausea

"Friends" who use you when they want some benefit out of it but ditch you when they realise they can't use you anymore.

Went through this last fall. I'd spent a year going out of my way to help a "friend", saved her $$$, only to have her backstab me when I needed help. I still spend time with this so-called friend, cause we're both part of a larger circle of friends who get together regularly. The worst part of it is that she doesn't even realize what she did to me was wrong.

I made my peace with it by realizing that not everyone in this world has a brain.

Last week and this week I received two failed delivery slips from CP and both times someone was home. I don`t have a car atm so this is such an inconvience. And to boot I can`t find a complaint thing on their website

Wonder if it's the same twit who is doing that in my neighbourhood. 4 packages in as many months for me. Last time I went to pick up a parcel, the poor gal at the post office gave me the phone # of the supervisor to report the parcel postman (vs the regular postman, who is a sweetie and brings my packages to my door so I don't have to carry them), since I was the 8th person that morning to have an issue & at least the 4th one in my building.

Is it really that much of an effort to buzz an individual to tell them to come down & pick up a parcel???

Don't mention it now. It's something you can't change. Just "grin and bear it", but don't listen to bad talk either. Walk away. You know they'll say bad things about you as soon as you leave, but it's okay.

35 minutes to do a normally 10 min drive to a specialist's appointment, 6 bucks for parking and 2 1/2 hrs of waiting only to be told something they could have told me over the phone.

The " College" I attend still owes me 100 bucks but I am still waiting for it. Its been 3 months since they were supposed to give it to me. Anyone thinking about going back to school Do not go to Trillium College.

I won't mention it in the future either. It's her wedding and she can do whatever she wants (I had enough people make stupid, unnecessarily upsetting comments with my wedding I don't wish that on anyone).

I will just smile and nod, baffled with why someone would willingly choose a bridesmaid who treats them so badly. I will keep all interactions with bridesmaid to yes and no answers with a smile. I don't need to spoil the bride's day

I had one about a month ago after nearly slicing the top of my thumb off.... didn't have quite the reaction you did, but it did take about 10 days for the swelling to go down where the doc jabbed me.
