Good Morning Everyone,
I actually managed to sleep in this morning, yeah me
(yes it is the little things for me).
I ran out to No Frills this morning. Mom did go yesterday and kind of funny I asked her to go and get lettuce as she has been complaining we have not had salad in awhile. I said well you are there take the Freshco Flyer and price match strawberries (RCSS only had organic so I could not price match)and also if you want grab a couple brownie mixes since they are on sale for $1. Well I get home ask for the receipt and guess what is missing???? Yep the lettuce. So I ran out this morning and grabbed 2.
Also have laundry going started the first load before I left since I have no issues running the washer when I am not home but would never do that with the dryer.
I am going to try to get some prep done in the kitchen today as Mom has 3 shifts this week (yes this is exciting lately it is 1 or 2 if she is lucky). Hopefully this will help this week go a little smoother with us working on 2 different schedules.
Tonight's dinner will be homemade pizza with ranch salad. I am going to do most of the prep early so I do not have to do it later tonight. I have taken some dough out of the freezer to use, a new recipe so if we like it I will make more tomorrow to put in the freezer. We are out of pizza sauce so going to make my own using some canned tomatoes (for something we rarely use we have a lot of canned tomatoes) and tomato paste and will work from there. We have everything else on hand, stocked up on mozzarella a few weeks back $3.97 - $0.75 coupon so $3.22 which we split in half so $1.61 and we won't use it all on the pizza. So for well under $5 we will have pizza compared to take out which would be about $20.
Have a great day everyone2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Morning all,
I decided to post 2 items for sale Friday am and they are both sold and picked up and well I'm $60 richer.
I have another item that someone is interested in so we'll see.
I've decided to post items for sale with timelines for pickups as we will be back and forth from the cottage all summer, I will remove the post while away so that people won't get upset as I won't be able to answer their messages, yes I have a plan
.
Laundry is washed and hung but the clouds are rolling in so thinking I may need to pop in the dryer but time will tell.
Eldest son is volunteering at the re-use it centre this summer on Saturdays to get his required 40 volunteer hours, he started this am, however, will be off next Saturday as its the family reunion that dh has put together. Jaden is pretty excited and we told him that if there is something he wants as he is sorting/helping out to ask if he can have it so you never know what gems he will find for himself. Regardless it's a great place to volunteer as everyone is in a great mood with all the freebies
.
Wishing everyone a wonderful day & weekend.
I'm going to start the July thread Sunday evening as I will be heading off to the cottage2019 is the year that we continue to save before we buy!!!

DS1 enjoyed his volunteering this am, he worked with a group of really nice ladies which is awesome!
The rain has held off so far no need to put the clothes in the dryer = savings
I have many lists on the go (lol) what to pack for the cottage, food plan for the week and everything else I can possibly imagine once we are settled in it is so much easier as we don't need to cart things back and forth.
I have a person coming tomorrow afternoon for the last item I have posted and shortly after she messaged me someone else is interested so hopefully it sells tomorrow to 1 of the ladies. The renovation account is now just over 1k with all the monies from items sold/no longer needed geez it's amazing how quickly it adds up so pleased, really looking forward to the fall to get some of the renos started/finished (haha) but not anxious for the snow.
I'm planning on popping into NF's quickly on the way to the cottage as I have not done groceries for over a week which the exceptions of small pit stops for bread, milk etc.
Wishing everyone a wonderful evening
@saundyl hope all is going well, keep us posted hun and take care of yourself.2019 is the year that we continue to save before we buy!!!

Spent 5.5 hrs helping my Mum pack and packing her stuff in a POD-lots of lifting and up and downstairs so DH and I are tired. Two of my nieces came to help too. Will spend a few more hrs tomorrow( with other helpers too) and hopefully will be about done. Time to chill until DD gets home from work for dinner.

Manged to get quite a bit done today. I had laundry done by 10 am so I decided to wash my bedding which took forever. On my bed I had a foam pad one mattress cover with a pillow topper over. So all and I did it took 4 loads to get everything washed. I decided to take the foam topper and one mattress cover off the bed. Mom helped me stuffed the foam topper into a garbage bag to be stored in the spare room and will put one mattress cover back in the linen closet.
Also manged to get quite a bit of prep done, I cut up a mini watermelon (Deal of the week RCSS has Minim Watermelons for $0.44/each so we got 2), chopped up one head of lettuce and one cucumber and one container of strawberries. If it is cut up Mom will it, it is isn't it tends to go bad. Still got some stuff to get done tomorrow but I am happy with how far I got today.
Felt really good to get some stuff done today, this cold has really brought my ambition down but everyone at work that has this cold says the same thing. You whole body aches like when you have the flu and you are just so tired all the time. As of today it is now 2 weeks, some people at work have said it lasted about 5 weeks with them (I won't make it 5 weeks, just saying).
Oh and the best part Mom liked my homemade sauce, I was kind of worried since we ran out of the one she made and loved and figured I would hear how she liked hers better but no she liked it which is good as we have a massive amount of it. I am going to portion them out in individual portions and freeze. For under $2, I made enough sauce for at least 10 pizza maybe more.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

I just sold some fresh red rhubarb from my plan for $5. I would have given her more, but that is what she wanted for making her rhubarb pies.
