Avon, good grief, what next?! Time to burn some dry sage and get rid of the bad vibes in your new home!! Your poor hubby...how is he this morning? How's his pain? What would convince him to have it looked at in emerg? I hope it was just a bump and bruise and nothing else....hugs to you, my special adopted "Sis"!!

Natalka...you remind me of what my Mom went through with my brother when he was a baby: her story about how he got his days and nights completely reversed...I guess his cicada cycle was in a muddle. I hope you can get this figured out, Hon...that's no way to get through life, poor kid....

I'm off to our GP this morning, although I'm not sure why, probably just another check-up to make sure nothing has crept in since he saw me 3 months ago, then off to physio in the afternoon. Yes, yes, life is full. At some point we'll have to get back between appointments to let Jenny out....she'll be occupied keeping a close eye on 'the guys' outside, working on our new driveway and front landing/steps. For me, I'll have to "walk the plank" across the driveway from our side door since we have nothing at our front door at all....this will be interesting! At least the plank is oh, maybe 15" or so wide, so I can probably shuffle along it, like our DD showed me the other day, as she shuffled back and forth, lol...sweet kid.

Okay! So! YOU all have a great day...Avon, watch your back as you're going through those boxes and moving things around and sweeping up...Nat, hope you can catch a nap today.

Avon - I really hope you can get that basement sorted out; I really don't envy you, but be careful, there've been enough problems already. Fingers crossed that ur hubby's wrist isn't broken.

Nat - geez girl; been there, done that. It took me approx a year to sort out my body's sleep habits. I hope you can fix yours soon. Nothing like always feeling tired.

Lynn - hope your appts. go well.

Me - nothing on today, so plan to spend it outside, in the garden as long as I can, read a book, whatever.
Tomorrow, a different story.
I have an appt. @ the hospital, no big deal, except it's @ 5 a.m.
​Which means I have to leave @ 4, so up about 3:15.

Oh boy hicks! They believe in starting the day early for your hospital appt!! Natalka, as everyone else has chimed in I too hope you can find a solution eventually to alleviate the tiredness and crazy sleep schedule you are having. Lynn walking the plank?!! That was my chuckle for the day, thanks! Sort of a quieter day now, listening to the hum of my 2 dehydrators going. I picked sage and basil this morning to dry.

I figured I'd go to bed early, but knowing me, I'd toss & turn; wouldn't fall asleep till, oh 1 or 2, worried sick I'd miss my alarm. I won't be able to go back to bed when I get home either, Jake'll be crossing his legs, and hungry as a horse.
Oh well, it'll remind me of the he!! of getting up early every morning for work, and praising the Lord I don't have to any more. So very thankful for that !!!

Darn, just finished the book I was reading, 'The Midwife of Venise'.
It was really good, and I wish it was twice as long.

Ok, I've walked the dog, twice, played with him in the stream & park, eaten, read, so I guess I can't put the garden off any longer. So out I go.

Well, that didn't last long. A little over an hour, & now I'm sitting on a towel, soaked with sweat.
Now, there's a vision I bet you wish you didn't have. lol

Ok, that's the last of the gardening for today. Much later than I thought it was.
Just have to put the sprinkler out, feed the dog, shower, walk him, then figure out what I'm going to eat.
Geez, the afternoon went fast.

Hicks, you exhaust me! I made lunch for myself yesterday and was off my feet the rest of the day!

Doc's app went well for us, no worries, except to remind me I HAD to have a physical before Christmas. Phhhhtttt.

Physio was great. I always feel so much better knowing how far I'm allowed to "push" myself with my exercises, and getting confirmation that I'm improving lickety-split compared to last year. I'm walking so much better (with my cane) but I tire very easily and my knee feels like it's going go just bend forward and drop me. But she said that I gave an actual "quad" now, lol, and it made her very happy....too cute.

Walks, your home must smell wonderful! I never tried to dehydrate my basil...I usually wash, dry, and roll them into little fat cigars and freeze them. When .i need some, .i chiffonade them and it's like they just came from the garden! Try it.....you may like them that way, too!

Thank you, Hicks! Seems like the worst is over and all I have to do now is work to strengthen my leg and knee muscles which took the last year off...

I did have a nap - which was wonderful, but I passed out so hard my left arm is still rather numbed - husband has massaged it twice already!
Napped through what was to have been supper cooking, so sweetie husband went to pick up some food.
