Well today Mr Mick Jagger gets in 72 hot licks,
& he sure lead a life that's been filled with some kicks!
He's rocked & shimmied all around the globe,
I can still see him gyrating in that flashing strobe,
He's had a life that is hard to conceive,

World tours & naughtiness rolled into one,
Certainly a chap that's been seldom outdone,
He's spawned SEVEN children when the time permitted,
At least that's the number to which he has admitted,
He’s hung out with Ronnie & Keith & Charlie,
& I’ve also even heard that sometimes things can get gnarly,

& I guess you’ve had experiences that are considered close shaves,
I assume that your riches help you to lay low & sit pretty,
But will you be going on tour again from city to city?

I'm with Walks, Hicks...first on, on all day, all night..last one off in the fall...
Actually, I overdid it today, and had to put a sweater on before I turned it down. I wondered why my toes were cold!!!

Walks, you're very on the ball: I've felt so old during this recovery...wheelchair, brace, crutches, cane, 3 surgeries, I think he really was thinking of me as some old..very old Baba! This is a new adventure for all of us...our DD called on her way home from camp and said the couple were in "our" trailer, cleaning it out today!!!! Woohoo!!!! We'll be in on Friday!!!!

good night hicks! Nat, hope hubby found the cause of the leak, he knows how much you need that A/C. Lynn it is all uphill for you now, I smell some great summer memories being cooked up!! DH and I just committed to watching a Blue Jays game in person so they better win that one!! I feel like I should get a T-shirt to wear....hmmm who's should I get? Decisions, decisions.

we rely on ceiling fans and our big trees giving us shade to keep us cool but i don't think that's going to be enough this week:

31 expected today, so I may be enjoying the day inside, although I have physio this afternoon. That 50% off coupon at Michaels (iirc) will buy my a new paintbrush and tube of paint later.....my first one is almost finished.

Nat, I hope your Hubby repaired your a/c so that you'll get some relief from this heat. How are the farmers coping? I used to watch "The Farm Report", lol, but we don't get it anymore.

Walks, enjoy that Jays game! Have you decided on a t-shirt? I remember when Hubby gave me those tickets for a Packers game...I knitted a long green and yellow scarf!! Maybe a bit much for a summer game, though.....

good morning gang.....yes another wonderful day is here, even though it is the dreaded Monday for you working heroes. It is back to the grind for my guys today too, we'll just call it a mini vaca. Sure went quick for them. No cooking needs to be done, they have 3+ cooked entrees in the fridge to assemble some sort of meal for a few days. Wish I had not woken up before 6:00 again this a.m. already feeling groggy. Enjoy the sunshine to anyone heading outdoors!!
