As you may recall, I missed the family holiday/reunion 2 summers ago as I took care of my Mum when she broke her hip-so I guess I am making up for lost time and jamming a lot into one long summer trip.

Absolutely-by the way do we have an update on Crochet Lady? I know she was in the hospital and so may have missed an update when I was away. I am hoping she is recovering.

Almost finished the cleaning of my bedroom,just need a few things to be placed,Tomorrow I will start the other bedroom with my dad and call for the help of my aunts if needed.I will see how it goes.

There has been no word on Crochetlady, hopefully she is recovering. I was also wondering what Mrs. Sunshine is up too.
Did quick shop tonight as we were about to run out of milk, popped in to metro as surprisingly the milk we prefer is always less money and RCSS annoyed me last year when the went to 3 litre bags for the same price, so I refuse to buy milk there even if the did go back to the 4L bags. Metro is alsomy closest grocery store so I do want them to stay in business as they are walking distance. I picked up berries while I was there as well. Of course I had to go to RCSS for my 7cent cucumber. I had an offer for 400points so I price match to Freshco. My store has a limit for pming so I just picked up 4. I did succumb to the bacon because I had the PC Plus offer and they had the buy 2 get one free peelies so despite the 20 pounds in the freezer I picked up 6 more and earned 3000 points.

up bright and early today, laundry is on the line. dishwasher is done.
Last night I planted more lettuce and spinach, my youngest watered the gardens. plants are coming along very well.

startedin on our fathers day crafts with the DC kids. this year its superman handprint shirts for the dads. they are going to love them!!

Good morning everyone!!! Today it is sunny outside so I am cleaning my bedsheets!!! This afternoon the cleaning begins.Off to go for some breakfest.I am a bit annoyed because qc flyers are not posted yet.

-waiting for hubby to walk in at 9.15 then off to get our haircut -usually wait 4 months for a cut but its 3 months and both our hair need it -I have layers so really need it (want to look nice when we go away with grown kids end of june )
-my girlfriend is going back home with her hubby in july -well years ago she gave me a care bag when we went to Europe on our cruise ,so I got a gift bag out this morning and filled it with hand crème ,small bottles of olay body wash -free,pantene shampoo-free samples I got , small Kleenex, ladies white socks, small note pad ,one ladies razor one mens ,1 deodorant each for her and hubby ,dental floss ,nivea chapstick small sunscreen and a few other small items spent about 17.00 thought it would be a nice gesture to give back to her since its a 3 week trip for them

Good morning! Nice day here today too. Wish I was home puttering around. Crazy day for me with kids needing picked up early etc. Then sports tonight out of town and its an early game. Good thing I have pasta ready from the other night for DS to eat on the way! And at least we will be home by 7pm instead of 10!
I didn't do anything last night. Was so tired. My honey went and picked up Chinese for dinner.

I think I need to buy a new space heater for work. I'll have to use the corporate card though. Does anyone have any ideas for gaining points while not being able to use my own CC rewards?

Crochetlady was my Halloween Package Train buddy. She sent me the most thoughtful package. I have been sending her a few cards. I will send another and put my phone number/email in it and see if the family can send an update. The last I heard was the one from her niece that we all got. I can tell you that before that I did receive a few PMs from her. The situation with her liver is life threateningly serious. She was "out of the woods" but that does not mean she is not back in.

I am lacking motivation. The little things of life are taxing me right now (routine chores that never relent, some things I need to to do that I have been procrastinating with). We are weaning babe and she is crankier and demanding (though she is still a really good baby). After be spoiled for 10 months with such a sweet girl, it makes it harder. I am reminding myself that health to do the things I don't want to do is a blessing and to try to take joy in them as sometimes the days need to be filled with simple.
