Mia, I know you erased your message, but I read it yesterday.
It's really hard to lose a mom - and everyone grieves differently. It does change over time - not that one cares less, but it just becomes different.
Even though it's been months, I suggest you DO talk to your siblings, don't be afraid of doing this. I know it helped all of us siblings after the deaths of our parents.
Also, you might want to look into grief counselling - the availability of it may depend upon where you live, but you can check with a local funeral home, they will have resources and may even have their own support groups.

My poor Mia. So, so sorry to hear this. Hugs and prayers as we all know how difficult it is to loose a parent. Know that we care even if we are far apart.

Mia, don't ever feel sorry about expressing yourself here, that's what we are here for.

Mia, I am sorry for your loss. Even though it's been months, I think it's especially hard for a daughter to lose her mother, particularly if you were close. I wish you peace and comfort.

My mom passed 11 years ago, and its something you never get used to. It still hurts and its something Im never going to get over, but you do learn to live with your loss. I dont know your relationship with your immediate family, but with my family, it helped to talk about mom during the major holidays, birthdays, mothers day - it felt good to remember her and how she loved these big occasions.
