    Good Morning Everyone,
I was up early this morning and did some cooking before it got hot. Last weekend we did nit get any cooking and felt it this week.
I roasted up a pan of potatoes
    Bake/Steamed Broccoli & Cauliflower
Baked a batch of Banana Muffins as my Bananas weren't going to last much longer

This afternoon I will chop up some lettuce & cantaloupe

Also yesterday I started my day working from home but called in as someone called in sick but before I went I made 2 batches of Rice to put in the fridge for meals this week.

Last night well I made dinner I made sure all the dishes were in the dishwasher or washed so I would not have to start today with dishes.

Just waiting for the kitchen to cool down a bit and then I go wash some dishes from this morning and finish my prep.

    Have a wonderful day everyone.

Yesterday was a nice afternoon/evening with my baby. We decided on free dinner at the casino since kids both had plans. I also took home $20 in free drinks/chocolate milk with comps and made $134.00. Not bad for a fun time out and totally free! We go back tonight for dinner and a show.

Laundry is is on the go and using this beautiful heat to bedding etc. Putting it away as I go. Kitchen is spotless. Will ask Grandma to deliver pizza this evening to oldest DS for when he returns home from work. Mama's treat with my casino win . So the kitchen should be clean still when we return! Well I better get cleaning before I have to shower and go!

I am not going to complain about the heat. It is long over due, I am loving how fast the laundry dries on the line. I am currently all caught up so Sunday I am stripping all the beds. Days of line dried sheets will soon be gone so I am going to take advantage of it.
Tonight I am taking the boys to see "IT". Thankfully I read the book and saw the mini series so hopefully I am not too traumatized. DH is wisely staying home, not his idea of fun🎈

I sold another $13 in kids stuff again today. I was going to have a nap, but then a lady contacted me about buying baby girl clothes. I brought in the big bin and sorted it for the specific items that she wanted. 2hrs later she finally messaged me with an excuse. I sent her the requested pic and price info, but she never replied. Stuff like that irks me.

I bought our son a Spider-Man costume for $5. I took him shopping with me to WM. I used coupons, CO51 offers, pm'd grapes, and SCOPed a bag of Kraft grated cheese. I paid in cash from my recent sales. I'm expecting another CO51 cheque form $27.80.

I have a 5.00 pick up today and I will just leave it in the mail box and then later find cash. I love the easy sales. I agree @Angela273 , so annoying when people waste my time. I find the stuff I am giving away has the most issues. I have a bag of books that I offered to a teacher for free for her class room, two weeks later and I still have them. My last text was simple, if these are still here today I will drop off to goodwill.

I had another $3 pick-up this morning. A lady on Friday rescheduled for this evening. I messaged her this afternoon to confirm that the time still works for her. Hours later she apologized for not cancelling sooner. The big boxes have been in my house since Frodau. I made sure they were properly labeled and returned them to the shed this evening. I spent a lot of time this afternoon re-sorting baby boy clothes and sending group pictures to a lady, because she lives 1hr away but she'll be in town early this week. She asked for a price on two big pics of items. I gave her more details and a price...she hasn't replied since.

I have a different lady doing a $25 pick-up tomorrow evening. Some people are happy and prompt. Other people have no problem wasting my time. Oh well, I'm doing what I can. I'd like to post a lot of small shoes and boots for sale tomorrow. We'll see how that goes.

I tried a new recipe today for my lunches and DH and the oldest son loved it. So I will need to make more. It was super frugal too as it's a kale and bean and I have loads of kale in the garden. It's pretty hearty so would make a great easy dinner as well. We are really working on the use what we have clear the pantry challenge. I was able to use the last of my Barilla pasta coupons yesterday to get 6 boxes of pasta for 1.50. It has a best before date of March 2020, and while I really did not need more I could not pass up the price.

We just love broccoli. Once again this week a store had it so cheap ( RCSS @ .98 ) so I grabbed 4, took just the tops and plunged them all in and out quickly into the roast pan of boiling water.
Processed all the bottoms in my food chopper for soup ingredients.
Tops and bottoms are " reunited " but in bags in the freezer.

Hello, Smart Canucks! Welcome back, @cath007 ! I've not been as much online since my laptop computer stopped over a week ago. Do love the air conditioning at the library even if I feel freeze-dried. I've found the heat too much and managed to drink most of 8L of pop over 4 days either with ice or water. Good thing Food Basics has 2L pop on sale-I will be there this week. When I managed to cook rice early in the morning, I basically relied on it and vegetables or any cold protein leftovers. Yesterday I found the basement the only place I could read without constantly seeking heat relief.

Super happy that I saw the first episode of Star Trek:Discovery last night on CBS. Did not know the rest of the series will be on specialty cable channels only. I did not like the first episode ending sort of mid-scene...but I love watching Michelle Yeoh!

September coupon clearout week! If anyone still has those Eggo coupons from the page with Chipits and topping offers, the Eggo ones expire on Sept.30. It's too hot to check if Sobey's has regular Paldo snacks in stock-they are usually the first kind to sell out when on sale. But 88cents-I'm down to my last wasabi flavoured package. I bought 4 sleeves of seaweed snacks about a month ago and I'm almost out of them.

Found a nickel on Saturday night when I went to Value Village to preview long-sleeve tops (50% off sale today for Super Saver members only on long sleeve shirts, blouse and knits) but did not see any items calling my name. Earned 20 cents today from cans found on weekend.

I did a couple of Air Miles surveys (via e-mail through the research arm that sends notices of new surveys) on Saturday. Noticed my 30 AM for activation by participating in a survey came through, so I was able to redeem 95 AM for a $10 HBC e-gift card. Printed off the page for future use!
2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

My continued hard work is paying off. One lady got back to me and bought $38 in baby boy clothes this morning. I sold $48 so far today and have more pick-ups pending.

I had 3 more pick-ups in the last hour. Today's grand total is $86 in sales to 5 people.

I have a repeat customer coming to buy another $4 in garden produce.
