Good morn! The darned polar vortex is stuck.
These are by Aberdeen (photo by Global), close to Saskatoon - my son has been seeing them on his trips to the acreage he's living at
Hope you all have a lovely day!

Good sunny morning to everyone!!
We're expecting snow, but for now....it looks nice from indoors, but pretty darn cool out there: -5
I hope the ton of snow that they're predicting for us, just skirts by us as usual. If not I'll be hiding between the mattresses.
Have a great day, everyone!!

morning gang! All this talk about the absence of Spring like weather....it's enough to make me wanna return to hibernation!
But a new healthy eating leaf has been turned over so I will stay focused on that for now. @GoJays I liked the amusing pics!!
DH is wearing the T-shirt I designed and had made for him at Christmas. It says I speak 3 Languages and below are 3 sports logos. ( Leafs, Argos and Blue Jays ).
Since both the Leafs and the Jays won last night he feels empowered to wear it into work....lol.
Enjoy my little friend here!!

Went grocery shopping today. I was able to resist the cheap Easter chocolate. If I buy it, I must eat it, therefore, I will not buy Got a super-cheap turkey though. It's just a little one, about the size of a giant chicken that's taken too many steroids, but it was only $8.00! And it's fresh, not frozen! My small victory for the day.

I remember, @GoJays , when turkeys used to go on sale at a grocery store, we'd pick one out and hand it to the butcher to cut in half, take them home and freeze them for dinners. They won't do that anymore, contamination, I guess, but boy, was that a nice service they used to provide. Enjoy your little turkey victory!

We haven't seen the original movie though I have seen it as an amateur stage show when I was younger. Alice was the only reason P2 and lilP started to watch it. But DD2 is a musical theatre geek and really enjoyed it when she watched it yesterday skipping through the ads.
Short answer : no Long answer : NOOOOOOOOOOO!

I haven't had a chance to watch this version yet. A few years ago our local musical theatre put on a production and my friend, who is Asian, had the role of Jesus. Unfortunately, I missed that production too.
I am totally exhausted!. Waiting for the major wind event to blow in. My BrotherR didn't get either his bathroom bench installation or his Bell installation connected today. He's in withdrawal. He's also in my living room as he came over for supper, a shower and an evening of TV.
Although I did not come anywhere near winning the basketball brackets, I scored the highest of my whole family. And they FOLLOW the sport! I just guessed.
Good evening, folks!Last edited by avoncallingu; Tue, Apr 3rd, 2018 at 07:35 PM.
