My tooth pain has been well a pain lol. It isn't bad today so I think it's finally settling down. I lost a bit more weight and now I'm at 310lbs. I'm within reach of my first big goal of being under 300lbs by first week of July. So overall since may 4th I have lost 30lbs.

Hello folks! A momma duck and her 4 ducklings just waddled across my patio. Didn't get a picture. They were headed for a cement wall on the other side of the bushes though. Hope she corralled them around it.

Um.. @avoncallingu , so when you're here, I'll try to scare up some critters for you, but I may not have a lot of success. On so many drives with family I've heard them yell..."Look! There! Did you see it? A deer!" No. I did not see it. I've never seen it.
Until, this past weekend!! DH pointed to the middle of the road, at the top of a hill we were about to drive up and there it was....a gorgeous, regal, REAL deer!! I finally saw one!
So. Honey, I wouldn't count on seeing anything else with me around. You do sound a little "Snow White-ish", though, attracting critters along the way, so if you so see any of those critters, just yell.
I probably won't see it anyway.

Congratulations on your movement towards your goal, cabbie!
Well, just after I saw the little parade, apparently the mother duck had jumped up onto our front porch just as someone was coming up the steps. She flew into the glass door -was stunned and then flew away leaving her despirately chirping ducklets behind. The fellow and I tried to shoo the duck-babies around the back of the building where momma had headed but 2 headed back the way they had come and the other headed around to the back of the building.
Momma then appears on the totally opposite side of the building. Three more people got into the duck hunting and shooing. I saw the momma head to the back of the parking lot but she looked injured. She then flew off. Two sets of 2 ducklings frantically searching and peeping for her.
Two were stuck trying to fly into the front door as their mommy had done. I scooped them up into a pillowcase. My other neighbour rounded up the other 2 and we set them down under the trees at the back of the parking lot where we had last seen mom. But I did see two adult birds back there having a squabble. Not sure if momma was one of them. Spoke to another neighbour who said that the momma usually brings them to her property at night and they feed from her bird feeder.
There were crows and a hawk flying around so hoping that the little ones stayed out of those guys' way.
1/2 hour later-no chirping-no squawking -no sign of any of them. Hopefully momma rounded them up and has led them to a safe place.
I will check with everyone tomorrow to see if any of the Troup have been seen. How fickle is nature!
Hoping for the best.outcome for all.
Another cliff-hanger. United 7 neighbours who had never really said more than, "Hi!" before. Nice to know so many people care.

So this is happening right now...
Think about all the kids who won't be getting their drinkable yogurt snacks today!
This "accident" has closed down 5 of 6 lanes going Westbound on the 401...
The official statement said that the accident happened around 4:30 this morning, where the tractor trailer driving in the right lane of the express apparently side swiped the median, ripping open the trailer and spilling out the breakfast tubes.
"accident" my @ss! 100% Driver fell asleep at the wheel.
Stupid delay added a 20 minute detour to my, what would have been a great, Friday morning commute into the city...
Any who...it's Friday.
Made it another week...enjoy the not so summer like first weekend of summer everyone!DANGER

Avon, cool story!
Dan, hope they clean that up before it gets hot!
A bit cooler here today, which is good for me.
Nurse comes today, sure would be nice to know when - but, yes, I'm grateful someone does come.
Next week I see the physiotherapist Tuesday and social worker Wednesday.
Enjoy the day, all of you!
