What's For Dinner?

Tonight’s the 3rs night in a row that we arent cooking. Thursday we were at a volunteer function and dinner was provided. Last night we went to a friends cottage on the lake for a bbq. Tonight we are driving with friends to a very special restaurant an hour away. We’ve been there once as it’s hard to get reservations and it’s a bit of a drive. They have the most amazing prime rib dinner I’ve ever had and I make a pretty good one, and wonderful house made gelato.

..suppose to be ribs, salad & corn but the rain, cold & north wind arrived early so it is hamburger & wedge fries instead...ribs tomorrow!

BBQ pork chops, baked potato, asparagus and salad. Apple strudel for dessert.

We’ve got guests for dinner tonight and it’s 38 celcius! Even though we’re grilling we will be eating in the dining room..Too hot out there. Making bbq back ribs, pork fried rice, Caesar salad and locally made gelato(3 kinds!) for dessert. I’ve got beer, Rose, sangria and lime margaritas for drinks😎

Was hungry a few hours later, so had a little bananana.

I worked a local festival for work yesterday I was on my feet from 8:30 am till about 4:30, I thought about trying to make dinner for about 5 minutes and then decided Nope let's order pizza. So we had Pizza, Chicken Poppers and Wedges.

As of right now tonight is mystery, I plan on doing some cooking today to have food in the fridge for grab and go lunches/dinners so I am thinking tonight will be a choose whatever you want night

Just me tonight so I grabbed a couple of fresh Kaiser buns that I will top off with oven baked battered fish (janes frozen) and slices of cheese

We spent the afternoon outside with family. I cooked us a big lunch, so we had a light supper.
Cream of mushroom soup and grilled cheese sandwiches, our son’s request.

Dh grilled beef sausages and I made a cheese and mushroom omelet. A very simple dinner to finish a very busy week. I’ve got to go get groceries tomorrow as the fridge and freezer are looking bare!
