Poor old Jerry! You are right-you are not seeing those creepy millipedes because, Jerry is looking out for your interests, @GoJays .

I went on a cleaning binge this morning and then hit a wall. The kitchen was driving me crazy so I started with the stove after clearing up all the dishes, and then the fan, and then I pooped out!

I have to run out a bit later to pick up a parcel and some meds and a few random things from the grocery store.

Was going to try to get my various jeans in today to get the seamstress to take them up a bit. They were OK in Alaska, but need a little tweaking now. Whether they fit or not will be a good measure of how I have been doing with my new- no-sweets, carbs, red meat diet.

There is a read-through of our new Christmas play tomorrow afternoon, so, I guess I really should find the script.😃

Nurse came at noon.
BP is 102/80, pulse 39

Wounds - initial blister is doing okay, second blister hasn't popped, but she put a salt dressing on it. Both of the scrapes are not doing well, the one on the back of my lower leg is painful, it burns often.
She cleaned everything up, put the pressure bandages on.
So I'm good til Tuesday.

Oh, the not great news but I thought it would be worse - in two weeks I gained 2.5 lbs. I was worried it would be 10!

I woke up a lot overnight, but still got okay sleep - for me.

Some pain in many body parts, can only help that eases soon.

5C this morning, kids!! The boys really had to bundle up for golf this morning, hahaha!!
I'm off to The Shoe Company to try to find a comfy pair of sneaks for fall; I seem to have summery and wintery sneaks, I need something inbetween.

Yep, time for Tootie's outdoor socks, @avoncallingu...too bad her wee feet are too small for doggie-booties. I have that tea-set, (or a very similar antique Imari set) so next time you come I'll haul it out for an afternoon tea party!

Glad you had a reasonable night's sleep @Natalka...hope the pain does ease up today!

I feel as if I have enough energy for at least one store today...we wondered about bringing my walker to NY with us, but it's such a pain to haul around if I'm not using it all the time...sigh...

good day all....had very little going on so had nothing interesting to post.
What an adventure for you @GoJays ( with Jerry I mean ) ....the other day after I yelled at DH to " kill it! " to a fast crawling bug, he reached down with a sheet of paper, lets it crawl onto it and gently puts it outside. What is the satisfaction in that??
@Lynn49 I was watching so much football yesterday! Bits of everything. Then I saw your guy ( Rogers ) get hurt, but come right back and they won! Then the hilarious Browns.....have they really really been that bad? never won a game last year? Oh and that beer promo was great...and they ALMOST did it! ha ha tied game.

The Jays took 3 out of 4 against Cleveland....even though the Jays are done I still find these games have all been quite entertaining.......and GO Tellez Go!!! I need to find a way to get me one of those Buck Martinez giveaway alarm clocks!!
I better figure out how E-bay works

Time to get my outside clothes on..... DD needs a lift into work.....have a terrific Monday everyone.

so had a whole post written up and then my computer crashed...

long story short:
Saturday: basement cleanup in preparation for insulation installation on all foundation walls. Building storage room and cold rooms in the next two weeks.
Sunday: Splitting and piling fire wood. Thank god for Rub A535.

Long commute in, due to rain.
