Half way through our garage sale and came home to walk the doggie. Boy, I could really fall asleep. Everything is running smoothly. Things are getting sold. Lovely weather! "Who could ask for anything more?" As the old song goes.
Sounds like others are enjoying their Saturday, too.
Want a Tilly hat for $2.00? I know where you can get one!
Will chat with you later. Tootie is going to be disappointed when I roust her off the bed because I am leaving.
I dare not close my eyes, so I will bid you adieu!

Lol, @avoncallingu , what shape is that hat in? Dh lost his a few years ago. Jk.......doesn't need another one.
Nice that you and your farmers got some much needed rain, @Natalka . We don't want any here, lol...75 and sunny. DD and SIL are supervising the boys at the lake, they swam out to the floating dock, having loads of fun. Apparently. DD took his kayak out for a tour around the bay and reported back...I stay out of the sun.
Family BBQ later...much later.
I sure hope everyone's enjoying this weather we all waited far too long for.
Only 186 days until Christmas!

@TrueNorthTreasures - what kind of visitor is that?
My day is going well. Now I'm trying to clean up and tidy up what has been left to it's own devices for this last week.

LAUNDRY - including a box of summer clothes that I hadn't unpacked yet.

When you run out of certain essentials, you realize you can't put it off any more.
I am happy with the way the garage sale worked out. Everyone pulled together and crossed each other's t's and dotted each other's i's.
We made a decent amount of money and things went to people who needed things.
Tomorrow is the next big church responsibility. Then I can start making summer plans. My stepson sent me a message today suggesting my brother and I make a trip down to "the ranch" to see where he's working. - Northern Colorado where it was snowing yesterday. Don't know if I can arrange that.
Well, some laundry is done, feet are killing me!
Will take the pooch out for last walk of the day and then take a shower and hit the sack.
Enjoy your evening. Sun is just setting here. Our 17-years -in-the-making rapid transit train system was launched yesterday. Riding is free until Canada Day. Hope to get in a free ride just to give it a try.
See ya!

That's what I was thinking. They dig complex tunnels with a few "rooms" and at least 2 entrances. We used to have groundhogs in the grassy field behind our home. They can make a little chirpy sound.

@TrueNorthTreasures I thought it may have been a very unattractive bunny! ha ha
@Lynn49 sounds like you are all are making the most out of the weekend at camp.
We just lolled around today and I savoured every lazy moment.
The day began rather early which was fine but then it turned unexpectedly pricey......as in " come in for the oil change, stay for the back brake job, peace of mind BS package, we found a nail in one of the tires, that was why the TIRE sensor light was on..... and....ugh!! My eyes started rolling back into my head.....just tell me when it is over and I'll pay and leave.
After that ordeal I headed over to Walmart to get the photo developed that I had snapped of my cross stitch " masterpiece "
( finished and framed ) but naturally all 5 of their Instant print kiosk machines were under repair....sigh.
When they are back up and running I'll post a pic!!
Oh almost forgot the best part..... this cross stitch kit was just $14.00 and came with ALL the thread, the pattern and the Aida cloth. The shadow box frame I bought was only $15.00 !! That was a bit of a steal imho for a lovely 12" x 12" item.
So weird though.....the most costly thing about this project was the wooden frame I decided to purchase to keep it taught as I worked on it. The largest size of hoop I own was just not large enough, so for $40.00 I got a set of 3 different sizes.
Each had wooden doweling, wooden frame sides, all holes pre-drilled and the wing nuts to assemble.
I am itching to start something else but am trying to be patient and really choose something special. I'll know it when I see it I guess!!
Btw, weren't our Blue Jays fantastic against last years World Series Champs today!!?? Who would have thunk they could come back from a 6-0 score to win IN BOSTON!! What a finish for Giles.
Anyone mourning the loss of Patrick Marleau from the Leafs? I was SOOOO hoping we could have snagged Subban but lucky NJ Devils got him from Nashville.
On last thing , then no more sporty talk. Did anyone watch the highlights of the CFL game between Hamilton Ti Cats and Toronto Argos?
A BLOOD bath!! 64 -14 ......it was hilarious ( ya gotta laugh or you'd cry! )
