Good day to all! I know, everyone is in a panic.
Scrambling around trying to get sh*t done.
If you've waited this long you may not be able to find the sh*t you wanted to give as a gift, but if you lucked out and grabbed the last one off the shelf you still gotta wrap that sh*t up.
Try sipping a second ( or third ) coffee! ha ha
In more uplifting posts!! This happened yesterday and it was such a great feeling to be there right when the store had that stuff out.

Morning- Well, winter has arrived but now we start building the light on our way back to Spring!🤗
Early choir practice before church today. Gotta run. BrotherR slept here last night so I won't have to head across town to pick him up.

Is everyone awol because they're out shopping for Christmas today?
It's gorgeous out there, although for some reason the kids' power is out...strange for such a sunny day; some idiot must have rammed his car into something or other.
I just finished sewing our DD a shoe-bag that's MUCH nicer than the one I sewed for one of the assistants at their firm, and if it's not the nicest, I don't know what is!
Some of you may be a little nervous about Santa's list, I hope you have enough time to start behaving!
@walkonby, @GoJays, I'm directing this to you two brats!

^^^
but....but @Lynn49 Moi?? a brat?! NEVAH!!!
For instance before 8 a.m. I was as busy as any of those creepy elves, in the kitchen ( where else?) .
The Christmas prep has begun.
Oh and yesterday what a comfort food heaven of a day it was. There was enough filling of the Christmas Cracker raviolis left over and I did not have room enough to freeze it nor would I toss it. So....I Mmde up perogi style yummy's using phyllo pastry ( the Tenderflake one ) as my dough.
But best part was the stainless steel perogi maker. Yes, it is slow going making one at a time BUT quality baby! When it is fully open the underneath of it is the circle cutter, then when the pockets are filled, the press folds in 2 and has 2 easy metal handles to squeeze and seal tight. I made 26 of them!!
Baking was also fun, DH loved the taste and said they were kind of like empanadas?
Also used my slow cooker to make a stew, ( have not used that appliance much since I usually pressure cook all my stews up much faster ) and truth be told it took most of the day, but after I thickened the liquid, I made up 2 boxes of
Dr. Oteker pastry and lined my humongous casserole tray.
A meat pie with top and bottom crust...talk about falling way off my Dr. Poon plan.
So my New Years resolution has pretty much written itself after yesterday.
Have fun everyone...DH and DS are actually planning on hitting the stores TOMORROW! ( claim they have gifts they still need to buy ) They are insane, glad I'll be here nibbling away and prepping more stuff.

Happy Sunday!
Sleep is backwards for me, but I seem to be getting a decent amount of hours in a 24 hour period, so that is good.
Food has been hit-and-miss, so I still have that to deal with.
Back pain ebbs and flows as well, same with hips and under thighs.
Got an email from my physiotherapist that she won't be able to see me until the end of January, so that's a bummer. I do what exercises I can when I am able, but when she comes for a session, she targets the most needed areas.
Have a great day, everyone!

This isn't exactly festive nor funny, but if anyone's ordering pizza in the next couple of busy days, you may want to consider this:

Hello my friends! Heading to bed- most laundry done but not folded. I have been cyber cruising for a fireplace/TV stand. Typically, everything that I really like is over $1000. Nope. But there are some in the $400 range that appeal. Boxing Day sales should mean that they get reduced.
Ordered in Chinese Food for supper from a store just down the road. It was really good!
I have physio again in the morning and then I have to get serious about wrapping in an environmentally "aware" way, if I can.
I'm very tired- so tired that when I went to put my slippers on to come to bed, I very nicely slid my foot into Tootie's waterbowl that was sitting beside the couch. Expletive and then loud laughter!
So, going to bid you all good night. Sleep well!
