    Good morning all . @Natalka I am happy you are feeling better.

    I am glad that my DH does not have to work today so he will have a long weekend to catch up on some much needed rest. Since it’s supposed to be a very beautiful day and I can’t go no where for the long weekend I guess Myself DDS and DH can have a BBQ and play some games on the patio after we set up the furniture.

    Whatever you do this weekend be safe and enjoy it

    Watching the video of Cookie right till the end when he made those adorable squeals! priceless.
    flemeth ikwym, my guys are so looking forward to getting 3 days of rest too.

    Since I made plenty of food yesterday, this morning thought I'd tackle making a strawberry shortcake from scratch.
    More work than I thought, but the 2 round cakes are now cooling, the sliced strawberries are soaking in sugar & vanilla and the cream is whipped.
    ( I sacrificed some of my precious 35% creamer to make that, I use that in coffee usually )

    Cake assembly will be shortly, gotta be patient and let those cakes really cool off.

    Hi everyone! You're all morning people on a Saturday of all days, but maybe all days are the same now in our current reality!

    Hi, all!!
    @Natalka...is that your idea of a stairway to heaven?

    Hubby and the kids went to camp today to clean up their/our trailer, deck, lawn, etc...tomorrow we'll both head over. 12 bags of leaves on the kids' deck!
    We're the only campground like ours to open on the island, campfires allowed, so it'll be nice to get back to Caesars, campfires and the lovely companionship of our Daughter and her family. Since their deck is big enough for a dance-hall, I'm pretty sure we'll manage social distancing...hahaha!!

    Not much else...we have wifi at camp, tv, so I'll still be in touch.
    @danger_dan...um...3 words: Skip The Dishes. We use it, and it's fab!!!

    Not too bad a day here, need to get out while the sun is kinda shining because lotsa rain is on the way, and also because I need to before I seize up entirely! Pain from the get go today! But I am thankful that I can still get out of bed!

    Since it’s beautiful out and my DH was sleeping I was cleaning the garden and prepare it for planting my DH will be doing the planting I am not a Gardner but usually like to harvest what he sow. We will be planting Butternut squash, bitter melon, Ghost Peppers , scotch bonnet and habanero peppers, zucchini , tomatoes and whatever he fancy when he go to the garden centre later today.

    @Skippy , yes, that's whatvmy Hubby thought also: you were both right...set the ruise to 115 and sailed here.

    @flemeth ! Ghost peppers?! Scotch bonnets?! Who on earth in your family eats such hot foods? I'm guessing your Hubby, but do you like them, also?
