Good morning!
Ok, @walkonby , karma. We now have a dusting of snow but we can still see more grass than snow, so no plows required yet. Still. You all have more.
So your lock-down is in full effect in S. On. .... Has there been hoarding there? I still can't believe that we still see idiots in malls on TV without masks! I have asthma and when I've gone out, i wear a mask! It's not easy, but flying in and out of a shop isn't a big problem. But shuffling around a mall is just bloody selfish.
I couldn't agree more, @GoJays .....I'm also losing hope in humanity.
In any event, enjoy your day, it's still a gift. 💕

Good morning everyone! Count me in as one of those who misses hugging. And no sooner did I start realizing how much I missed it did I learn that hugging actually increases our levels of a feel-good hormone (oxytocin).
2020 cannot end soon for me. In the past 54 days my double sinks in the kitchen backed up so bad the plumber had to use an electric power auger which spun black grease all around the under-sink cabinet and beyond (he cleaned it up pretty well but of course I had to clean up to my satisfaction and did find spots he missed), the telephone line got cut accidentally (by a construction crew), we had to evacuate for 5 hours due to a gas leak (also caused by a construction worker who actually cut a hole in the pipeline), and just this weekend the shower broke down, requiring another plumber’s visit.
I want to take a long nap and wake up on January 1st 2021

Oh my gosh @Silk - big giant virtual
That's so much to go through!
Good morn, all!
I hadn't realized I didn't post for so many days! If I forgot in the morning, I would think I would do it in the evening - then obviously I didn't.
Still alive, still kicking and taking names!
Same owies, getting really tired of them all. Oh, add on the list my left hand which has been in a perpetual state of being asleep, and hurting from that. When it last happened for a long time, I was tested and x-rayed, no explanation for it. Yes, the explanation is that it's irritating!
The most interesting thing around here is that Vader kitty is in heat. Yeah, it starts all cute and stuff, then it can be downright irritating some of the time. At least she's not a howler!
We got just a skiff of snow on the weekend, temps this week should be negative single digits, so that is tolerable.
Hope you all have a Manic Monday!
...or Marvelous!

Oh @Silk That series of unfortunate ( plumbing/greasy messes/phone cut/gas leak ) events sounded similar to a 3 Stooges sketch! As you said though, always to be grateful no matter what is thrown at us.
Big virtual hugs for you!!
ME!!! I relate to that, was a big fan of Gilda as Roseanne Roseannadanna.
Today is much better as i sit here watching the snow we got yesterday MELT!!!
@Lynn49 and @Natalka both of you seem to have hidden the " snowfall " bullseye that is usually on your towns'.
Well....for now that is. A dusting is o.k. but be prepared for more.
Hoping that numbness in your left arm gets better Nat. You must shake it all the time trying to get it to go away eh?
I've only experienced the odd sensation with that, usually if I have slept on my arm or something.
@Skippy I SO feel the aggravation you are speaking about. Lost posts ( especially nice long ones ) happen too often!
Hope everyone has a wonderful Monday! ( oxymoron, I know )Last edited by walkonby; Mon, Nov 23rd, 2020 at 03:21 PM.
