What's For Dinner?

A really different kind of christmas here and not in the good kind of way as it is just myself and my wife tonight so we have not decided on take out or just bacon sandwiches.

Beef Tenderloin, grilled asparagus, yams and yorkshire pudding.

We decided on non-traditional today, we both looked at each other this afternoon and said want Burgers so tonight we are having Homemade Burger with Oven Fry Poutine.

Yesterday we had Roast Chicken with stuffing, gravy, mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts and salad. Hubby cooked dinner. And it was super delicious!

We are going to have bone in ham, scalloped potatoes, broccoli and green beens

Tonight will be homemade Pizza with Pepperoni, Bacon, Onion, Mushrooms, Cheddar & a sprinkle of Parm on top

A bit late posting but our Christmas day meal was a bit unconventional. We all agreed to have it around 8 or 9 p.m.
Mainly because we enjoyed our Christmas Eve nosh at 9 p.m. ( BBQ T-bone steak meal ) then dug into the gifts 1 minute after midnight.
That made for a glorious relaxing day on the 25th for me!
Breakfast was at 10:00 and DH was in charge using his new vertical waffle maker for the first time. We were all impressed....so tasty with a variety of toppings
Who could even think about another sit down meal so soon after that?

Fast forward to evening....we decided to have half buffet/half sit down. ( mainly to save space on the table )
Each of us filled our plates with the veggie sides at the counter by the stove, then sat down at the table to add the turkey, spuds, stuffing and gravy.
I should have done this years ago! ha ha

Its been turkey the past 2 days! no turkey today, not sure what it will be at this point but most likely an appy kind of day (football ) The turkey sandwiches were the best piled high with turkey, stuffing & cranberry !

Tonight's plan is Steak with Baked Potato, Sauteed Mushroom & Onions, Garlic & Parm Roasted Butternut Squash & Cesar Salad

Last night i tried out the Ninja Air Fryer i received as a gift from my Granddaughter! I made French Fries. Tonight im going to make Greek Potatoes in the Air Fryer and Mild Italian Sausages with some sort of vegies and Tomato and Onion Salad.
