@Giseledta (((HUGS))) I know how you are feeling when My younger DD moved out to go to University I was heart broken. It’s very hard to let go of our kids. I am sure your DD will do great and the good thing is that she knows that she is welcome back home if things does not workout. You and your DH are awesome parents .

We took possession of our new house this morning. Already found a couple of unexpected problems. Hopefully it doesn’t cost too much for Dh to fix. I wish they had used paint cans in the house that we could use for some repairs in the master bedroom and living room. It’s been a long time since we’ve painted rooms.

The kids and I spent 2.5hrs at the new house this morning. They helped wash out the pantry abc done other areas in the kitchen. I disassembled the fridge/freezer, washed everything and put it back together again. I also washed out the hallway closets and the top cupboards in the laundry. We unloaded the pantry items and put them away at the new house. We went home for lunch and a break. We’ll do some errands before going back to the new house to clean abd move some more stuff.

I managed to get a load line dried today despite the threat of rain. I am hearing a lot of thunder right now but still a pretty clear sky so maybe the storm is sitting over the lake.
I am impatiently waiting for a delivery, I bought myself a stand up paddle board and I am off work Monday so I am hoping it arrives today as planned so I can use it this weekend. My plan is a local conservation lake as I am not ready for Lake Ontario. I will save that for next summer.

Cath - I phone Johnsonville every 90 days. So much easier than email or using their web site contact that never seemed to get through. Go to the Website. look up the Contact 1-800 number and give them a call. After the first time their system recognizes my number and they know when I last caled and if I am OK to get more coupons. I just did this a week or so ago and got the coupons this week. Like I said so much easier I would urge you go give that method a try

Spent hours starting the move today. Unfortunately we found more problems with the house that can only be fixed by professionals. Dh is handy, but he isn’t able to do some of these repairs himself.

The kids and I moved and unpacked three loads with my van. We’ll continue cleaning and moving tomorrow. Dh will work on some home repairs.

    Good Morning,
This week is over, it is funny nothing bad happened this week and even though my schedule was totally insane I am proud of how well I got through my week got everything done but at the same time so happy it is over. I think I am just feeling it, I am tired, feeling a little run down.

I was in a branch yesterday covering a manager, all went well. Except apparently yesterday morning, I could not process time. I decided to let myself sleep in until 5:30 but then I thought I can stay in bed until 6 but not sure how I thought I was going to get ready, pack and lunch and be in the branch for 7 am. My own total mess up, I think I pulled in at 6:59 LOL, so not me I am always early.

But as I pulled in I realized I forgot my laptop charger and my battery only lasts like an hour. I text Mom but she did not get back to me until almost 1 pm and that was too late. I worked around it, I used a co workers computer and used my laptop sparingly. Made it work.

I have so much I should be doing today but so far it is a slow start to the morning, having my cup of tea and catching up on some of my shows on PVR. I know I should get up, get moving but we will see. I really want to take advantage of the cooler weather but I also feel I need to rest and recharge. We will see where the day takes me.

    Have a great Saturday everyone.

Good morning @SassyAshley hey, I am all for celebrating the positive things that can happen in the week, so good on you for navigating around those work potholes. Enjoy whatever R & R you can get along with that cup of tea!

I am just sitting...that is it. The plan later on is to make up a large batch of meaty pasta that can last over the 2+ days. Parmesan garlic knots and a salad is also on that list of to-do's.
Everything else is of no interest to me atm.
I might just be " appled out ". When you start dreaming of them then it may be time to hit pause.
I'm at the mercy ( so much drama ) of DS as he's the guy who'll be scaling the tall ladder to get what remains of the very best ones on the tree.

Will soon have to find a new heating pad for DH. His Cadillac of heating pads died this week. No warning, nothing.
I could chalk that up to multi tasking, shopping online while sitting!

G-what province is your daughter moving too. Mine went away to Vancouver for first year and is still there with one semester to go-she loves it Good for you encouraging your daughter to follow her dreams-even if she is far away. For us Vancouver is about 1,000 km through the mountains-so about an 11 hr drive or a 1 hr flight-somehow we find a way to make it work. Of course had she gone to the East Coast it would have been a lot tougher. My friends daughter went all the way to S. Korea for first year-but since it is going to continue to be online due to Covid she is going to transfer back here for second. I am sure my friend is quite relieved.
