Good morning folks! First morning since the dreaded root canal was performed on Tuesday that I am having NO pain. Finally I can ditch those awful codeine pain pills.
Now I still can't chew on that side, or touch the area very forcefully, but I'll take the reprieve from the mind numbing aching that had followed Tuesday mornings dental nightmare.
( Nightmare for me, the dentist was just fine....hrmph! )

Oy! Ukraine! How can this be happening in my lifetime? All the war stories my Dad used to ramble on about ( while drunk mostly ) were episodes I considered things from HIS past. Now the reality of what Putin is doing has seeped deep into my brain. I've had to turn off CNN and MSNBC as the coverage is too much to accept for me. It is bloody scary!

@GoJays , much thanks for posting Aqua-man next to Rob Schneider! That kept me chuckling long enough to almost forget about Putin!

Beautiful sunny rays out there, but I have no need to go out so inside I'll remain a window shopper for today.
Don't ya hate it when a Specialist says you need a procedure because it's been so long since the last one and then implies it will be a month or two ( if at all ) to get one booked? Oh..... just me then?
The dirty creep somehow " found me " an open slot for March 9th!! How?? What happened to 1 or 2 months? I needed that cushion of time to psyche myself up to go at all.
I'll have to do what the young crowd is calling " adulting " I guess. Not a fan of being forced or coerced into acceptance.

Oh and @danger_dan yes by all means drink up! The weekend is not that far off.

Glad to see some familiar faces around here and to catch up on the latest in the SC world
It’s been awhile for me but it is what it is.
With the situation in the Ukraine I was thinking of Natalka who hasn’t been around for a bit, but I remember she was having technical difficulties.
With the way the weather has been, I haven’t been out as much as usual because just slipping on the ice is bad enough for me. That said I have made some attempts as a bit of fresh air and exercise is better than nothing!
Despite our difficulties we are still blessed to live where we do.

Omg.....I tried to watch CNN, watched the British legislature discussing the horror putin's dealing to Ukraine! He's bombing my Grandparent's homeland, I'm nearly in tears and @walkonby , I can't watch anymore, either. Damn NATO, Biden...all talk.." oh, it'll take a month or two before he feels the effects of our sanctions..", well, sweetie, our people are feeling a whole lot f☆☆☆ing more than that right now!!

Anyway.....sleep well, thank heaven we're here in Canada.

When is the world going to realize putin is out of control mad? The overdoses of testosterone have finally gotten to him and he's absolutely out of his mind! They're only NOW going to freeze his assets?!
We're on the brink of nuclear war and no one seems overly concerned? Yes, emergency NATO meeting...let's see what comes of that. More scary sanctions?

Did you sed that russian tank drive over that elderly man's car? Turned to actually head for it and drive over it as it was moving!! That's a russian for you. Right there. We see them smiling, figure skating, but you put a weapon in their hands, you've become the hated, stabbed in the back!
No one told that tank driver to try to blatantly attempt to kill that driver; they're taught to hate!

It is snowing here ( again ), not a ton, but the temps are bitter cold and that wind! I had to fuel up the vehicle this morning, then hit Wmart for some washer fluid ( light came on that it was empty ).
While at WM thought maybe I could get in for a quickie hair colour, but the salon isn't open till 10 a.m. I'm an early bird, so bought my few items and returned home. poured the bottle of window wash into the reservoir to save DH the aggravation.

I just peeked out front and the footprints that I had made on the path when I came home are now all covered up....with more snow! Oh brother.

We are having lots of snow according to me. Just went out again and
clear the driveway. Had to do some errands this morning with my DD and the Main roads was not cleared
And drivers are being crazy like always.

We've had enough snow for now. Or ever! It's a cold but sunny day here, Hubby just put more seeds in our bird feeders and hung up a "suet" recipe I made on our tree outside. Poor wee things.

I can only LIKE when SC completely loads; it usually just sits there about 2/3 of the way, but that bar doesn't always move. So sorry...I still do 'like' you guys!! I'll click that button when I can.

This site's technical capabilities are so obsolete, it's only us keeping it going, @harbie , we're the only glue holding it together in this wilderness. So many have left already
