so i probably haven't been to the movies in at least 6 months, and when i went to purchase tickets to see bohemian rhapsody tomorrow, I was informed that we no longer print our e-tickets?! I mean I get it, scanning from our phones is easier, but am I one of the few that keeps movie ticket stubs?
Also, apparently my local theatre has pick your own seats for every movie!!! how exciting... I thought that was just for VIP. I prefer aisle seats because of washroom breaks, but this just upped my movie seeing game!

o.k. another day and I was clueless about the clocks going back tonight until I read @kool_105 post.ty.

Time for a funny story about napping in a recliner and my memory.
I wanted to roast up a whole chicken for the guys so they'd have something nice when they got home.
Had it all slathered up with herbs and in the roast pan but felt it was too early to go in to cook just yet, so I stuck it away in the fridge and hit the recliner!
I fell asleep.....woke up in a panic..." geesh the damn chicken" ......I dash up and get it in the oven figuring by the size it might take a solid 2 hrs to cook crispy outside but fall of the bones inside....
So, I head back down and fall asleep AGAIN! in the recliner......Woke up a second time in a panic....."geesh the darn chicken! "

I get upstairs and it had cooked for 2 hrs and 40 minutes! ha ha Man was it crispy outside and they loved it.
I never told them all the effort it took me to cook it though, I mean with all that panicking and dashing up and down the stairs!

@c_mcarthur - my BrotherR went to see Bohemian Rhapsody this afternoon and is raving about it. Hope you liked it too. I have to say, I was not interested in going.

I swept out my new parking spot and used a hose down there to clean up the salt accumulation from last year. Then my back was KILLING me so I had to have a rest. I did park there later after it dried up.

So my first night parking inside!!! Yippee!

We have an especially early church choir practice before the service tomorrow so, I should get to bed early, turning back the clocks as I go.

We might get some of that terrible white stuff tonight.

Sooooo...the skin's gone?

ha ha ! That would be MY weakness @Lynn49 , the inviting aroma, the flavour of crispy chx skin. The guys are so lady like, slicing off breast servings where each slice gets a sliver of the skin.....not like the Barbarian behaviour one would expect eh?
I had none of that bird, ( mainly cuz I salted the thing all over ) it was a gift for them and DD.
I even think the doggies got a few morsels!!

Just killing time till waking up DD for work. Oh man The LEAFS last night!! Of all the teams to look awesome against!! They beat the penguins 5-0
Woo Hoo!

Now back to our regular lazy day programme!!

Milan is coming over, hopefully will have enough time to go to London Drugs to pick up a new printer for me, and set it up.

Husband wants to cook supper, so yay!

He has just gone to church. I sure miss going.

Hi, everyone!

Well, my fruitcake's in the oven!! Between my Kitchenaid and Hubby, I did very little and yet had to take a Robax AC and lay down for a half hour. Everything seems to wipe me out lately.

However!! It's NFL day and the games will be starting soon...best ones: Steelers vs Ravens (usually a real smash-mouth game), and MY PACK against the whining, cheating, crybaby-quarterback team, the patriots in the evening. ONLY New England likes them. The gods just have to let Aaron win!!!!

DH has taken Jenny for a walk to the kids' house, the boys are going to Orillia in the morning to go over their new trailer, and I'm heading with Jenny, to my friend's house for a visit, helping her with some quilting, and lunch.

Everyone....take time to relax today, I hope it's also sunny where you are!!!!

Hello folks! Sunny but pretty chilly here. Beautiful early morning walk with the frost still on everything. Then church, then rehearsal, then drive that church member and my brother home. Resting for 1/2 hour -then drive to Wellesley to pick up supper from Lions club that is raising money for a young lad with diabetes, then drive Tootie home then drive to other Brother's house to eat said meals, then drive other brother home and then drive me home and PARK INSIDE!

Then collapse and watch something that I have taped this week.

Are we tired yet?

Laundry, dishes, paperwork -as much as I can fit in while my brain is still working.

So, Walks, when you settle into that chair, just hear my voice whispering in your ear, "You'Re feeling sleeepy, veeery sleeepy! "

Oh, it's working in reverse -I'M feeling sleeepy, veery sleeepy! 😌
