Happy Wednesday, everyone!
Cabbie, glad you are feeling good and making progress!
Nurse came yesterday afternoon to check me out. Vitals are the same, infection is almost clear. I will go back on a twice weekly visit, since I have been stable again, so next time will be Saturday.
Yesterday marked a year that I went into the hospital, and what a bizarre time it has been.
Two of my sisters went to choose a marker for my younger brother, but it has to wait until the spring to be put in place. His remains cremains? are buried between the graves of our parents, so the marble will match theirs and be right below it. Still so hard to believe he is gone....
Well, must move on with the day...
Take care, everyone!

Still enjoying our blazing hot sunshine today. The rains are coming soon though I think.
Not a whole lot new around here these days. Except I have 4 books on the go and trying very hard to get through the library ones first.....
Happy Humperdoo Day!!! ( for any Preacher fans )

@walkonby!!! Who IS that disgustingly horrid looking person??!! Eeewwww!!
As for reading, I really want to get my paws on our DD's "Fear" book, but she hasn't even taken the plastic off it to pet it!!!
She's studying for an exam in a week...sorry...not studying for her exam next week, but won't open the book!!!
I offered to read it first, but nooooo...then it wouldn't be a fresh new book!! Hahahaha!!
Strangely, I absolutely understand that!!
I don't even like reading all the newspapers and flyers we get once a week if my DH reads them first! So, I grab them before he does!
Still putting stuff together for the trip, and it's all not taking up much room at all in my suitcase, so obviously that leaves room for everything I intend to buy there! Hah!

mornin peoples!!
@Lynn49 that pic I posted is a character in a show called Preacher. His character name is Humperdoo.
You'd laugh if I explained the show any further but trust me when I say the episodes with THAT character were some of the best!!
Imagine being actors auditioning for that role and being turned away because you were not ugly enough!!

Jays, it won't stay, it's just to mess with us psychologically.
Usually the snow that stays isn't until Halloween. It all depends.
My son's birthday is October 28, so we usually gauge by that. When he was born in 1991 there was a huge blizzard with so much snow my mom couldn't come to see us for two days.Last edited by Natalka; Thu, Sep 20th, 2018 at 11:20 AM.

Hi, everyone!
@GoJays , those WholeFoods/Walmart maps are incredible!!! Almost unbelievable!
@Natalka , how depressing to see snow no matter how short a time it's there....and so it starts....
Well, we're pretty much packed, ready to fly into and out of a Toronto thunderstorm tomorrow morning and then into sunny NYC for a few days. I asked our GS what he'd like us to bring back, and asked fir a New York CITY ballcap....not the Yankees, no sports, just the city.....okeydokey then! He collects caps...too cute.
Okay, well, you all have a wonderful day!
