Tonight I’m making pork steaks with mushroom sauce, leftover rice, steamed cauliflower, and a tossed garden salad.

Tonight is clean out the fridge night so will be this and that.
I brought home some free meals yesterday so I know there is a garden salad and a beef dip DS can eat. I doubt he will eat the garden salad so I will take it for lunch tomorrow if its still kicking around

Dinner on repeat tonight. Vegan Jamaican patties. We got them at a farmers market a few weeks ago and just love them.

Middle of the night again, ugh! Oh well, retirees can nap ( and I do! ) anytime during the day so it does jumble up my night time sleep.
Anyhow, about my dinner. I had a perfectly good plan all entered into my food journal, ( soup, salad, Ryvita with melted cheese, some veggie munchies ) but for some strange reason I was craving a toasted tomato sammy?
Glad I went with my craving, had bought these " new to me " brown tomatoes at Giant Tiger last week......Mmmmm, they were very good.
I do love using Dimpflmeier Light Rye toast for these.
The caloric data was easily swapped out. I'll eat that other meal sometime on Tuesday.

My aunt give us 2 coquilles st -jacques (sea food dishe) and a jar of marinated beets so we will have that for dinner tonight
Funny I used to hate marinated beets but now I love them to much haha

Johnsonville sausages, Cheemo Perogies, steamed California veggies, garden tossed salad.

Healthier monster cookie squares are in the oven.

Homemade veggie soup, 3 cups salad, ryvita crispbread painted with minimal mayo and topped with green peppers and zucchini slices. Hollowed out baby cucumbers, filled with hummus. Decaf coffee.

Small without bones porkchops cooked and mijoted in a 3 peppers sauce so it is so tender served with mashed patatoes and si bon homemade fruits chow chow. and marinated beets with maybe salad..and we will have leftovers,cooking the whole small 8..

Tonight is a junk food supper. We attended a free bbq at a play park. Hotdogs, chips, candy kabobs. Kids will have fresh veggies/fruit for bedtime snack.

Last night I made rice with veggies and topped with garlic shrimp.

Tonight’s supper is oven baked chicken drumsticks, pasta with hummus, steamed California veggies, sliced apple, and a cup of milk.

Since the oven was hot, I make a 9x13” pan of oatmeal chocolate chip bars. I’m freezing some baking for school/work lunches.
