@sueshe, PC sells Mini Tortillas, my No Frills had some packages with 50% off stickers last week so I grabbed 2 packages.

I sure picked the wrong day to jump back on my diet! The plan was to grab salad fixins at NF. No single heads of Romaine under $4.00, 1 pathetic double pack ( both heads small ) was left in a bin priced at $4.50! No Iceberg anywhere and the price of the smallish bags of Dole salads were just shameful. I settled on a small bag of broccoli slaw for $2.99 ( I like crunch in salad ) along with 2 heads of Boston Lettuce @$1.99 each.
What is going on with lettuce? The produce fellow told me they haven't been able to get much in and when they do it gets priced like this.
DH and DS are not on a diets so DH BBQ'd up 16 burgers using ground beef/pork, adding diced green and regular onions, spices and I had to twist his arm to convince him the mixture NEEDED some breadcrumbs and a raw egg. They turned out beautiful.
Currently I'm sipping on a no salt added veggie broth with scant amounts of cooked chx breast and veggies in it. Dinner later will be a zucchini/cheese/mushroom/ground turkey casserole. I'm back to the 5 calorie Jello cups for my sweet fix. Not exactly a fix, more like a poorly adhesive Bandaid, but desperate times call for this.
There are only so many days between DH and DS#1's b'day party, then Christmas dinner the next weekend, so I must try to be good until then.

I want comfort tonight so I am making Shepard's Pie with Mushroom Gravy using some leftover Mashed Potatoes. To take it one step further, I have Dinner Rolls in the Bread Machine.

Pulled Chinese Dumplings from the freezer and made One-Pot Teriyaki Noodles to go with them.
The One-Pot Teriyaki Noodles were a new recipe, and it was good. I had to add a little more water to get the noodles cooked but I think it was the noodles I used. We buy No Name Noodles all the time and recently I tried Sobey's Compliments Noodles, but they do not cook up the same.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Been back on track ( diet....sigh ) for a full 7 days now but grateful that I was able to dig a number of pre-made items out of the freezer to have for bkfst, lunch and dinner.
The real cooking started tonight, I forced myself to pay the new price for the large jar of roasted red peppers, had already bought the frozen cauliflower as the fresh stuff was nutso expensive.
This new batch of pureed soup yielded me 25 x 1 cup servings, so I'm happy now. Especially with these biting cold temps. Also got some " fake " pizzas going using the very thin Lavash
low carb mini pitas. Butterball turkey pepperoni is my saviour! ha ha

Well, I opened a tin of Rio Mare tuna (regular) and added a sliced pickle to the bowl. That was dinner. Hope that quells my snacking.

@walkonby My brother likes having the tuna with salads now and then. He'll get them at a grocery store or sometimes at Costco. Sometimes I or Mom buy the tuna.
I love the Mexican salad version in the single cans but they are pricey! Not much in them either."This is the Way." The Mandalorian
