By the time we were finished working out and finally got to sit and eat just before 8pm I defrosted the garden bolognese sauce, cooked mini shells and combined them with crumbled tofu and it was sooooooo good. I need to make several more batches of that sauce to freeze.

DS made a concoction that he called " soup ", but 1 small taste of the broth told me THIS was not my jam. Spicy? Holy mama!!
The base he calls " earthy " but I say he may have soaked a few too many dried mushrooms. Tbh, their IS flavour there just not
    my favourite ingredients.

There was Schneider's Pepperoni sticks cut into coins, Ramen noodles, diced tomatoes, mushrooms ( soaked first ), plus the soaking water ( blecht! ) and sliced process cheese!
The cheese gets added on the top of the bowl when served ( gag me with a spoon! ) I laugh because when I make stuff he is not fond of he feels the same way! lol
The jury is still out on DH and my dinner because we had a very late breakfast/lunch combo around 2 p.m.

Sorry @walkonby but that sounds scary! I’m all for a good old fashioned clean out the fridge soup to use up any and all leftovers but this even scared me lol

@walkonby , that seems like a bit of a weird combo, I have to admit when I read the pepperettes, my thought was that is interesting, then you mentioned the cheese, not sure where that inspiration came from.
