Took a productive break and cleaned out the spare room closet. I am going to start washing the winter coats and then hang them in there till next winter

Have a pile of clothes for DS to go through. Have a box started of garbage.

Choice of 1. Large eggs, butter or 2.7KG lasagna! Wow.

Barbis -great deals at shoppers and sassy you are right i am going to shoppers less and less as my offers for 20 times the points are when i spent $70-90,not feasable for the both of us.So my p.c points are not accumulating as much,thanks to a few people who posted the no frills loadable cpns i was able to get about 8,000 points at no frills this week.

@coupongirl I always seem to miss the loadable coupons - where can I find that site? Thanks!

Good Morning Everyone,
Day 2 of Upgrade training, I shouldn't complain yesterday was only 3 hours but it feels so much longer, especially when you are in a session with 10+ people but no one but you is talking or answering questions.

There are a few sales I want to take advantage of this week, will need to go through my list and see what I can Price Match or how many stores I will need to go to. I have to admit I am a little worried as I noticed last week when I was in No Frills they have taken down the list of stores they will Price Match which makes me think a change is coming.

I noticed this week RCSS had some good deals but I am not sure when I will be in that area to shop. Will check No Frills and see what their prices are like on some of the items. Sometimes I find No Frills price is close to RCSS sale price which makes it worth not spending the $$$ on gas.

Has anyone tried the new Downy Rinse & Refresh, I see both Sobey's (Limiting to one per customer) and Metro have it on sale Super Cheap this week so tempted to try it. Normally I get my Fabric Softener from Costco as we only use Downy due to skin sensitivities. I tried just using Vinegar but Mom did not like it.

@SassyAshley I tried the Downy Rinse and Refresh (sample in the mail) and found lint stayed on my clothes when I went to hang them dry. The scent is nice, I prefer it over regular Downy, as I'm trying to limit fabric softener to pants/jackets. I still prefer vinegar as its more natural than most products in the detergent isle.

barbis -i dont now where to go to load them but some smart cancucks put the link up in the p.c points thread in our site .I just hit on the link and i was able to load the offers for no frills.Maybe they are hidden from the regular public but some people have access to them .

I got 3,000 points just on monday for my purex at no frills and i loaded that one and it worked,so i thanked the woman who put them up on smart canucks.The smart canuck person was "eataiag"who posted them on the p.c optimum site on here.So i thanked her.

Yay so happy I had my mark today for yesterday exam....it is a success..But the part of 6 errors is frustrated me lol...But happy to had succeed the others 2 classmates had a failure...
So the director of the school wanted to see me...(she is a women very nice) and the persons who are involved on my case at school...so the planning now is to wait for word exam,do the excel exam sooner and the other one after and no more 2 matter at the same time for 3 weeks....it is kind of a relief but still a lot of work...
It is awesome to have persons stand for me and my wanting my success and progression!!!!!
But my program I learned that I will be financed just 1 year as it take 1 year to do it not 1 and a half year......so less money
So for the next Christmas if all goes well fingers crossed....I will had finish my program and will be in search of a job in secretary!!

Well I was going to cheat for dinner and pick up the whole chicken meal deal at RCSS but they were out of the "chicken sauce" so not as great of a deal.
Decided to come home and make Lemon Shrimp pasta! Have that on the go now. Will be easy to whip together (when you use 4 pots/pans lol)
Will do a quick kitchen clean up after we eat.

Thanks skippy-i just ordered an $129.00 air fryer with my points at 5.30 p.m .Now i have been trying to bring up the merchandise page under dream rewards and it is not coming up ,it states.HHpo4 error or something to that effect,i feel everybody is going on the site .

I just want to use the rest of my miles up.

Well we will be off to toronto on friday morning ,we are getting a storm so we will be heading out early 9.00 to 9.30 .

Daughter said i could clean her kitchen when we get there at noon ,as sebastian will be in school.So i wont be on here for a day who knows we may stay 2 nights and come home sunday morning .We only see them once a month or else daughter will come here and see us like she did last month .

Sassy ,my dear daughter has a demanding job and deadlines and zoom meetings at different time as her company is not in north america .So after the march break she is going to a wellness retreat near peterborough,it is not cheap as they provide the vegan meals .But she told me she needs this ,she went before by herself a yr and a half ago and loved it .She will go for 4 days ,so her ex will have sebastian an extra day ,they co-parent with him so good .

Wow @Frugalbigmama I am envious of your free offer on the PCO. I have never had a free item.
I am really happy that I had brought my air miles down to less than 300. Last week I took advantage of the Metro offer and I am so glad I did. I am not surprised it’s dead because there was so few places left to earn. It just getting increasingly hard to save money. But I know we won’t give up.

This week has been a rollercoaster of meetings, report cards, course work, etc. I haven’t been home since February break…I was supposed to travel home for this two day weekend. Unfortunately, my area is under a snow advisory with a blizzard on its way for 1/2 the weekend. If I drove home, I’d be driving into the blizzard. Even if I managed to arrive safely, it might result in me being storm stayed and unable to teach on Monday. So Dh and I talked about it and I probably won’t be driving home this weekend. Next weekend is a 3 day weekend…we have student led conferences on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. I’ll go home for the 3 day weekend, the weather looks good then. It will be just shy of 3wks without seeing my family in person. That’ll be the longest since Dh and I got married over a decade ago.
