Last night we treated ourselves and went to the gastronomic buffet at Le Casino de Montréal. I had Lobster Bisque with a whole wheat crusty roll. I had to try everything on the menu so even though it seems like a lot it really isnt because i took a spoonful of this and that. So this is what i had. Antipasto: homemade cesar salad with real bacon; a thingythat looked like sliced chicken in a glass holder with some sort of sauce; 1 slice of provolone cheese, 2 slices each of Genoa salami, Proscuitto and some other Italian sausage thingy, alone with 3 different kinds of olives; also a slice of pate and a cracker. Then i had some shrimps with seafood sauce; then i had a small slice of roast beef with a bit of mashed potatoes and gravy, 1 small slice of greek potato and some grilled shrimp brochettes. There was a lot of other stuff i couldnt try because i wanted dessert. This is what i had for dessert: 1 small Creme Brulee; 2 strawberries with chocolate; 1 small tiramisu an 1 cream puff with maple whipped cream and a sliver of hard maple on top.
Hubby had Antipasto the same as me but more of it. He also had 3 duck legs, some roast beef, stuffed pork, mashed potatoesand some greek potatoes and gravy. He also had this stirfry of different vegetables. He doesnt go for seafood much so he didnt have any. Dessert wasmainly the same as me plus he had some sort of almond tort.
Dinner tonight will be ham baked with cloves and maple syrup, mashed potatoes and sliced carrots.

I have no idea what we are having for supper tonight. Dh will be picking LO up from daycare because I will be writing a university midterm exam at supper time tonight.
For lunch today I had home made chicken salad on a toasted bagel with sliced English cucumber and a glass of milk. It was yummy.

It's another stormy day here so not much to do but cook! (lol) I think I'm going to get a head start and make a bunch of stuff in case I go to the cabin over the next couple of days i.e, meatballs, ribs, honey garlic wings, chili (save some for a nacho dip) fried rice, then I can freeze and take with me when I do go and just heat it all up on the woodstove...

Arthritis is acting up majorly bad today, especially in both my wrists and my fingers. I cant turn the door handle or hold anything heavy in my right hand. Hubby made ham last night so tonight it will be leftover ham with roast potato fingers, some sort of vegies and a salad. Dessert will be Del Monte fruit cocktail.

Tonight was, "I don't have a plan" night. So we had some tomato soup, garlic bread. I just cooked two small chickens for the next couple of days, gotta find some creative things to do with them for supper instead of just plain chicken!

Made tomato sauce with ground pork, had it with spaghettini (not a fan, prefer regular); marinated salad I made with cauliflower, carrots, broccoli florets and stems.
