Sarma
Like this, but ours is 'deconstructed' - we don't roll the mixture in the sour cabbage leaves (they cost too much!), but instead just cook the ground meat/rice rolls with sauerkraut in the broth/sauce.
Don't know yet who will make them - my husband did teach me, and mine are good!

Found a small pork roast in our freezer so I will cook that with some roasted carrots, potatoes and sweet potatoes.
I have agreed to try new foods or re try foods I did not like as a child so I am re trying sweet potatoes, kind of nervous which is why I am also making the potatoes this way if I do not like the sweet potatoes I still have regular potatoes I can eat. As well kind of nervous never cooked a pork roast before, dinner could be interesting tonight.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

lots of leftovers from last nights party, thank goodness as I definitely don't feel like cooking today!! leftover shishkabobs so will just re-heat those....I did the marinades for the beef, pork and chicken and it all tasted amazing...I mixed up oils, spices, soya, etc for the meats but for the chicken just used the Kraft Mandarin Orange with Sesame and it added a really nice flavour...will be using that one again!

hamburger patties on the bbq and potatoes, carrots and turnips on the bbq also and a nice tomato and onion salad.
(potates, carrots andturnips on thebbq: cut potatoes into smaller peices , same with carrots and turnips, add salt, Pepper and garlic powder to taste. Toss well. empty all this onto a larger aluminum pie plate (or whatever you want to use), put 3 tsps of butter spaced nicely on top, coverwith aluminum foil. put on low heat on top section of bbq for 1 hour.) quantity dépends on how many people you want to serve.

DS was at a birthday party until 5, going for pizza so I thought that he'd not need supper.
I was mistaken. He came home, asked for a snack, then shortly before 6 he asked when supper was coming (he NEVER asks that). Chicken in the oven now (since he didn't like the chicken i cooked last night with Clubhouse Garlic+ so he won't eat leftovers of that).
