easy dinner because we have to leave room for all the junk we are gonna eat later while watching some movies, ( bad!)
Guys had the Hoagies ? Smokies ? those large sausage type things in buns, with raw veg platter, and some stuffed mushrooms caps ( with cheddar, bacon and real snow crab meat! Mmmm ) my caps had goat cheese, and crab meat only, still Mmmmm, and I had another GF wrap with just chili powdered spiced ground turkey and some shredded lactose free mozzarella.

I got lucky today. My MIL did all the cooking and because it was a belated b-day party pour moi, she made all my favorites: roast beef, mashed potatoes with gravy and yellow and green beans...with a sinfully delicious cheesecake for dessert. There was other stuff too-- roasted asparagus, sauteed mushrooms, shrimp platter, greek salad, pasta salad, dinner rolls, and a plethora of munchies like nachos and slasa, munchie mix, and peanut butter filled pretzels. OMG. Soooooo gooooood. I need to go visit the "Confess Something" thread now because there is a confession to be made and it involves cheesecake.

Yesterday, I made baked porkchops with a mushroom sauce, and some sort of potato casserole that had sliced potatoes layered with dill and dry cottage cheese, onions, and butter. Next time, I'll make a sauce to have it cook in, more like scalloped potatoes, I think.

Tonight is a summer-like supper--in honour of the last night of summer holidays. LOL. BBQ hamburgers, a bean medley salad, and an italian pasta salad...and probably some ice cream just for good measure! Nothing says summer like ice cream!
