-

I made a big roaster of lazy cabbage roll casserole for dinner. I was lucky enough to have an elderly Ukrainian lady teach me how to do the traditional rolls, which I do for special occasions. For everyday meals, I go to the lazy ones.

Leftover curry that MIL sent us home with. I didn't have any rice and didn't want to make any and since it's a thin soupy consistency I just pretended it was spicy soup

Tonight I had leftovers from last night - which was a melange of sauteed ground pork with onions, celery, carrots, garlic, and cauliflower all in a mushroom sauce, served over macaroni.
Husband is in the kitchen two hours later for his now - he just asked me how to make mushroom soup, lol! Hey, I offered to make him something for supper, he said he'd just 'find something'. I'm guessing it's the leftover noodles in the mushroom soup for him, then something else...

^ yummers!
Supper in crockpot - potatoes, carrots, barley, onions, garlic, cauliflower, with cut up pork loin, mushroom sauce, Italian spices. Smells heavenly!
Homemade antipasto for starter, with crackers.
First time I had frozen it, turns out it's perfect when thawed!Last edited by Natalka; Sat, Feb 22nd, 2014 at 07:26 PM.

I'm going to start roasting a whole chicken shortly, with some sort of potato and some asparagus. I'm also baking some cheddar biscuits - biscuits aren't my strong suit, so fingers, toes and eyes are crossed that they come out! One of the many times I miss my Mom, she could just toss stuff in the bowl, not even measure and come out with light fluffy biscuits.
