Homemade Mac and cheese with sides of cooked peas and raw sliced fresh peppers, mango and strawberries. Made a fruit cobbler for dessert.

I made a cheesy pasta, veggie, ground beef casserole. It was pretty good and relatively healthy. I had it all cooked up and kept it warm in the oven when I headed to my 4:00pm meeting. Texted dh to let him know the food was ready when he brought LO home from daycare.

Last night I made my MIL's "osso bucco" using beef instead of veal shank. It turned out sooooooo yummy
I got a beautiful cast iron Dutch oven in the states for $49(tax in) that was reg $140(tax in)!!!! I <3 it so much I'm going to use it again tonight and make something with chicken thighs
I'm open to suggestions

Apparently Harbie is the only one eating today-or at least planning ahead and posting!! I think we will clean up some leftovers in the fridge.

I put a beef roast in the slow cooker this morning...not sure what I'm doing with it yet, too tired for a big fuss so might just make a sandwich on fresh cheese buns..lol..

Luckily, I have tons of leftovers from the roast, and I saved the au jus (lol) to make gravy, so will make some mashed potatoes, carrots, etc...

Yesterday, take-out Chinese food from the mall. Lots leftover to have today and tomorrow, probably.
