What's For Dinner?

Found some chicken breasts in the freezer that need to be used, so we are having Hawaiian Chicken, baked potatoes, creamed spinach, and cornbread.

Son is coming over tonight, so I'm making chop suey and rice. LOVE that I have almost every veggie possible to use!

Tonight will be pulled pork in BBQ Sauce over mashed potatoes, really craving some carbs so I will probably have a buttered bun on the side and whatever vegetable we come up with on the side.

DH made up 10 large burgers from a family sized package of lean ground beef last night while I was at the show watching my second film of the day ( hee hee, it was The Giver and I sure enjoyed it )
Tonight I might just have another bowl of that turkey soup from the other day, heats up so easy.

Chicken burgers (sans bun pour moi), french fries, and steamed broccoli/cauliflower/carrot mix.

We also had a super special dessert tonight that the kids made from scratch. LOL. I will post a photo of it in the baking thread as soon as my phoneuploads it.

Roast Beef today...roasted potatoes and veggies...will make a nice beef and onion gravy to go with it

Last night did not go as planned, pork was no where near ready at dinner time so instead we had Nachos.

Tonight will be Pulled BBQ Pork over Mashed Potatoes with a side veggie, thinking salad since I will be eating alone tonight.

last night had a pretty large salad with not much in it actually.....romaine, diced bell peppers, cucumbers, dried cranberries and my homemade salsa ( the juice from it) as a dressing.
The guys are taking the last of the burgers in for work today so I don't have to cook today!!

Pork chops, mashed potatoes and green peas. Pretty boring but I was out of ideas and we got home kinda late so I went for the easy way out!!!

Homemade salmon pate with no crust but mixed patatoes,had the recepie after I tasted at my aunt house.It is so good and complete.And a green romaine salad with cherry tomatoes and mushroom with ranch dressing.Probably cake and fruits for desserts.

wow, I just knew DD's and my lunch date ( after the dentist ) was going to hold me all day, gawd! I still can't think about eating anything even yet. I enjoyed a delicious Peameal on a kaiser ( yup I swallowed the gluten laden poison today! will pay later for that ) with gobs of yellow mustard on it, homemade coleslaw and a bowl of clam chowder. I've been drinking so much water since then, must be from the salt in the meal I guess that has me so thirsty ??
Starting fresh tomorrow, will be kinder to myself I think.

I had leftover chop suey and rice, almost tastes better second day! Husband is having leftover pork chop and potatoes, and there is more of what I had left if he wants more food.
