Last night was crazy Lasagna with a Garlic Bun
Tonight is Mom's bday so off to try the new Chinese Buffet, last few times we were at Mandarin it has been disappointing so hopefully this will be a new better choice for special occasions.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Well I ended up making chicken, perogies and corn for dinner last night. And made a homemade mac and cheese while cleaning up the kitchen (So one DS took for lunch today and will tomorrow) My other DS mentioned we have all the fixings for tacos so I may defrost beef if I pop home at lunch and make taco meat. Really should clean out the fridge tonight and make tomorrow night's dinner a bit of this and that!

Im not making dinner because we had a big lunch but there`s lots of finger foods and leftovers. So probably im going to have a bowl of cut up fruits and hubby will have some cod fritters that our Jamaican friend gave us the other day.

I think I'll head over to SnowFlakey's for dinner, I love leftovers & finger foods. If I have missed the shuttle bus, I'll go to plan B.
We're having chicken, green beans & red potatoes. All baked together with about 5 cloves of minced garlic, juice from half a lemon & 1/2 cup of olive oil. Just season it & hope that it turns out as good as the picture.

I made this recipe tonight, in ONE pot, and it got thumbs up from all! My son even saw onion in it while it was still cooking when he got home, and he still ate it, AND said it was good! I reduced the onion and used the chili variety if Alymer Accents tomatoes. I didn't have quite enough chicken broth and used boned thighs instead of breasts. I think next time I won't bother boning the chicken until it's cooked, bones add flavour. http://damndelicious.net/2014/06/27/...chicken-pasta/

Pork steak and fried rice. It was odd however, because the steak tasted like liver.

Chili - using anything and everything I can find and use up to put in it.
My son called it kitchen sink chili when he was younger.
Added - decided to do it in crockpot, I just sautee the ground beast before.
So I added in cauliflower, carrots, mushrooms, onions, garlic, celery, peas, tomatoes, kidney beans (baked beans didn't make it home from Giant Tiger, lucky them to have taken our money and not packed them up for us!), basil, oregano, beef bouillon, s+p, chili powder.Last edited by Natalka; Thu, Jan 15th, 2015 at 10:33 AM.
