Rosemary roast of pork with a white wine gravy, roasted carrots and mushrooms, baby steamed potatoes and ceasar salad (the kids wanted this, lol) with Chapman's Hokey-Pokey ice cream for dessert!

oh, yum aussie! I love breakfast for supper! Gee, I'm just lazy that I don't use my breadmaker more. Now that I've admitted it, I'll HAVE to use it more!
Tonight I have to figure out what to make with chicken breasts, other than just roast them. My husband dislikes white meat, so I have to 'disguise' it somehow, lol! Maybe oven-fried chicken strips and homemade potato wedges.... hmmm

I continue to be amazed at the quality and value that I've gotten with these pork backribs from No Frills. $3/pound! I season them and then slow roast them at 325 F. for about 90-100 minutes. They're juicy and tender and the meat just about falls off the bones. The leftovers warm up easy a couple days later. They're very meaty. Getting hungry?

Last night I used the rest of the tacco filling( seasoned ground beef with corn nibblets, diced tomatoes, cheese) and made a shredded tacco salad topped with warm beef and the usual suspects of salsa and sour cream and a few Frito corn chips

Tonight??? I really feel like making mini meatloafs and smahed garlic taters but we'll see what happens come dinner time

I just boil potatoes and after draining them I use a masher to smash them up. I leave the skins on and make then chunky. When I add the butter I used the roasted garlic butter that I made a few weeks ago(it's in the freezer) and add a bit of milk, sour cream,S&P, and if you want them fluffy then an egg.

    Super easy and soooooo yummy!
