made some pretty fine burgers for the guys to drag in for their meal tonight. I had found an old fashioned burger press at the Thrift store about a month ago and all the parts were there. ( clear cylinder, plunger, discs)
It worked great! made them nice and thick too! WM had 3 trays of burger left in the marked down bunker today, cost me $14.00 OOP for 1 extra lean, 1 lean and 1 medium. After mixing with crumbs, eggs and herbs I yielded 12 hefty sized patties.

then I used my other fun food chopper to do up a small carrot and the remainder of that massive cabbage ( into coleslaw )
They turned down home made fries though, said it would be too much food, they get a very short break for the meal time.

@walkonby - wow, '70s flashback - one of my sisters-in-law had one of those, I always thought it was so cool!
Supper tonight - sauteed some ham garlic sausage in broth, added leftover egg noodles, a can of baked beans in tomato sauce, some garlic - and yum, easy-peasy meal in a pot.

Just got back from NF. Tonight's supper plan is currently Ziggy's meat stuffed pasta with Classico Alfredo sauce, tossed salad, and a big glas of milk.
I'd like to bake some squares or cookies this afternoon with our 3yr old son.Last edited by Angela273; Wed, Oct 28th, 2015 at 03:53 PM.
