hicks!! Your dinner sounded delicious!
Earlier this morning I wanted to make sure to use up as much of the fresh produce I had bought to make Christmas dinner and also incorporate any other things left over from the dinner into " something new ".
Made a fried rice mixture with the cooked white rice, added chopped bell peppers, celery, zucchini and green onions to it.
Par cooked up 1 whole bunch of broccoli, bagged it up and froze it.
Did up 2 more pans of stuffed russet potato skins to use up the remaining squash/sweet potato filling.
Got every last bit of lean meat off the ham bone, some sliced up nice for sammies, the smaller bits DS can add to his omelets.

Today I found fancy steak marked down to 1/2 price. DH BBQ'd it and it was melt in the mouth delish and tender. Sides were potatoes and stir friend onions, green peppers and mushrooms-and a glass of red wine for DH.
