Did a quickie shop today @ NF. Just had to grab me some more $1.00 items. Another huge cantaloupe and 2 bunches of broccoli. Snagged a decent sized savoy cabbage for $1.29. Found some Dole bagged salads on sale for $1.00 ea.
( BB date March 5th )
Later on tonight I'll pressure cook another corned beef brisket and steam the whole head of cabbage.
That will be the guys work meal for Thurs.

Schneider's beef pies, first time trying them, with mashed potatoes, gravy, and broccoli for me.
review: there were six little pies - not enough meat for husband, but I quite liked them. Pastry was really good.Last edited by Natalka; Wed, Feb 21st, 2018 at 09:11 PM.

Decided to go total comfort food; Mac 'n cheese and coleslaw to go with the pork.

Day 21: On the home stretch! I made kitchen sink soup which means I cleaned the fridge out and used everything but the kitchen sink. I also made chicken strips that were burried in the freezer and made a honey mustard type dip and some naan on the side.

Buttered pasta (macaroni) with spices and I will see about roasting some root veggies with my pepper strips to have something "cooked" to go with the pasta.
