Homemade chicken noodle soup tonight and Diet Pepsi

..there's leftover chicken from yesterday, going to make rice and there's still some asparagus & macaroni salad..and bread that was fresh that needs to be used up so will probably make garlic, cheese bread in the oven..

(whew! yesterday I cooked the chicken and potatoes and put the asparagus in the oven during the last 10 mins, on parchment tossed with olive oil & spices, etc..while setting table I left the asparagus in the oven on broil to crisp it up and when I went to take the pan out of the oven it burst into flames (the paper)---PANIC!! luckily the sink was near so I dumped it all in the sink and ran the water--won't be trying that this evening!)

Cream of mushroom soup and grilled cheese sandwiches, our son’s request.

DH and DS are in charge of making their own work meals for a while and oh it feels so wonderful right now!! I am trying to stay focused on my own healthy meal plan and simply don't need the temptation I experience while cooking all their meals up.
This is temporary I am sure, but DH made up a beef bean soup last night and he is making a large amount of pasta with ground beef.
That should hold them for a few days this week....lol.

Last night was KD and will be doing Tuscan Herb Chicken on my big easy thing tonight.

Prime rib roast beef, mashed potatoes, parsnips and carrots and gravy. Blueberry muffin for dessert.

Tonight is wrestlemania lol yup I am one of those wrestling fans. The pre show is 2 hours long at 5pm and the main show is 5 hours starting at 7pm. So I'm going to make some hand cut fries and later one of the pizzas I got using that $25 Loblaw card. Of course some pop and chips too. Yup that's dinner lol.

I’m making a maple glazed turkey breast, sautéed spaghetti squash with bacon and mushrooms,green goddess salad. Sugar free chocolate mousse for dessert.

Decided on Breakfast for Dinner so I made Homemade Waffles

Homemade pizza with leftover Easter ham, sauteed ground pork, onions, mushrooms, pineapple on two because husband doesn't like. Husband bought green onions instead of green pepper, so I'll miss that.

Haven't made this in ages, it used to be no biggie to do it all myself, but today was a collaborative effort between the three of us.

We’re grilling grass fed beef burgers and making a Caesar salad to go with...a beautiful warm day, perfect for grilling!

Sunday night the family scoffed back homemade pasta/meat sauce and garlic toast ( DH and DS made it all ) while I slurped up a bowl of my cream of broccoli soup. Later I had some hummus with gluten free sweet pea lentil snacks.
